Crazy to think about it, Ancelotti was fired after his second season - in the first we won PL and FA-cup - after finishing 2nd in the league.. Things have changed, we haven't reached higher position than 3rd since 16/17 title season with Conte. I don't blame the club or Abramovich for Conte though.. During his carreer, he left all his clubs after 2 years(only at Juve he managed more) and pretty much always in unpeaceful circumstances. His restless and comfronting personality don't allow him to stay long term at a club like Pep or Klopp.

They are already safe.. Southampton cannot overtake them mathematically, and Everton, Notingham and Leeds need to win 4 out of 4 to pass them. Impossible.. I even feel WHU are safe, but Bournemouth definetly survived.

After signing him, he immediately got injured for 3 months. He returned to the pitch Today, subbed in for 10 minutes against Marseille, he scored and own goal in the 91th minute, which made Marseille won 2-1.. 😂 On more player to arrive in great physical and mental condition.

Overall, tragic. Not tragic because we relegated, tragic because Real Madrid walked through without any difficulity, without having to sweat or offer anything special. If we had 1-2 players who can actually scored goals we could have had chance to win this till final minutes. Chalobah, Gallagher and Cucurella are absolutely no players for this level.

I don’t think there are reasonable pros and cons wheter we had better chance to win CL with Potter, Bruno or Lampard. All seems highly unlikely to beat Real AND Bayern/City in 2-2 games. However, TB cannot lose, if we win with Lampard he will be praised, if not.. then everyone moves on.
