He is young, so now is the time we can get good amount of money for him. Of course, he can improve, but what is his selling point exactly? Not great vision, not good passer, bad tackler, makes bad decisions, doesn’t shoot from long distance often, misplaces final passes. I don’t see what are the aspects of the game where he can be outstanding. His energy and fighting are impressive, running after the ball tiredlessly, but this is not enough for Chelsea. He is just not good enough. Of course he can stay around as benchwarmer, but once we have decent and available midfielders there will be no hard decision for Potter who to start.

Bit weird he is staying at Lyon on loan.. We very much need a righ back. Maybe the club is worried we cannot make space in the squad to register him? As I know, we are full. Is even Madueke registered? Still doesn't have squad number officially.

From our current attackers, he would be the last one I got rid of. (among CHO, Pulisic, Ziyech, Aubameyang, Lukaku, Sterling) I want to see how he does for an offensive team. Especially no for 35M, would be a massive loss. Letting Werner go for 20 million and buy Auba for 15 was same stupid idea. If Bayern wants him they should pay good price.

I feel if our style improves and we would be more attacking side his numbers will be increased aswell. He is at good age. There is no problem with getting rid of Alonso. But we let him go for free and made Cucurella the world’s most expensive fullback, while he is meiocre on his best days, but having nothing but bad days since he joined. If he is on form, he is ok. So were Alonso or Emerson. But if you blow up your bank account for a left back, you expect some Alphonso Davies / Cancelo kind of shit, not Yuri Zhirkov shit. Seeing him and Hall recent games.. Made me think about Ashley Cole.. God, everyone hated to play against him, he stuck on wingers like a leech.
