Even before this game, it was clear we are not making top 4.. Then why not build next year team? Start Ziyech who is clearly on his way out and benching new players.

Even 2-3 weeks ago I thought we shouldn’t fire him, 2 sacking in one season is a new level. Also, not too much exciting names are available, probably they don’t want to take the team in March either. But at this point, we must sack him. These results are just rock bottom. 2 wins in in 15 games, 1 goals in 6 games, hopeless attack and rotation. Truly shocking. I don’t think I ever saw a top team with top players going so low.

Feels like Potter randomly rotating players, waiting one of these lineups will magically work.

Oh my god.. He played so long ago and so much has happened since(not too many W-s though) I almost forgot about him.. Curious how his condition is. If he can return relatively good condition, not even his prime, he will be a big plus comparing to Loftus-Cheek and Gallagher.

Just look at Modric.. Still so aggressive.. But not brainless way like Gallagher.

Hard to admit but this Real Madrid are a wonderful team. They are combining young players and experienced ones perfectly. I can understand why they seem to struggle often against small Spanish teams, but on big matches, this combination of young talents and mentality monsters like Benzema, Modric, Rüdiger, Alaba etc.. They are ruthless. If we somehow manage to pass Dortmund and we get Real.. We can be in trouble.. They will punish even weak 15-20 minutes ruthlessly.

We must go all al the way attacking and score 2-3 goals, even if they park the bus, no excuse.. Clean sheet is not enough, no excuse… I hope Potter decides to start Auba or Fofana, let’s try a real striker.

If this game was an expection, I would agree. But it's a tendency. We have so many attackers, still we scored 4 goals in our last 9 games. Aubameyang, Havertz, Felix, Fofana, Mount, Ziyech, Madueke, Mudryk, Sterling.. So many talented players featured, so many options.. Still he is not able to find solution to make these players score. Obviously, Potter cannot go to the field and finish the attacks, but this is serious tendency, there must be something which he and his staff doing rubbish.. Mental preparation, proper practices, not concentrating enough.. A good manager should at least have ideas to improve.

Based on the second half, we didn’t deserve to win. Many quality players, still hardly any idea how to put pressure on opponent and be a constant threat. Penalty decision in the end is ridiculous though.. Why even don’t check by VAR?
