Because he is too expensive for bench (plus wont want to sit on bench either). On the other hand, too similar to Matic to play next to him. Not enough mobility, creativity and link up from midfield if both would play at same time. However, if Mourinho intends to play this way (close down, bus parking after scoring leading goal), we may as well play with 4 defensive midfielders. Maybe then, we will be able to keep the lead.

Not playing Luis was terrible. Buying Cuadrado just to have such role for such big money is terrible. Not playing Remy more was questionable. Giving Ake #6, first team etc was plain bullshit from Mourinho. Ake should play more in certain games IMO if he was given place. Sure first team members have performed, but there is no doubt Iva, Costa, Willian, Oscar should be dropped more. Mou fucked up in this department no doubt.

They have different body structure and different youth background (Koke from spain, oscar from brazil). And Koke performs through whole year, while Oscar slowly drops in second half. Probably there would be some differences, but IMO character is something that is hard to change, unless you are coached by "military" manager. For example Koke is natural leader, big player, as is Modric or Iniesta etc. Oscar is more like Cesc. Not a true leader IMO. Time will tell everything though
-
What I like about him is his mature play, physicality and he grows with bigger games. Not a fancy player like Isco but much more valuable in team build up. Good character, bit agressive but if developed properly you can see him become a leader. I cant think the same about Oscar for example.

A little reminder We played against City, psg this season that are considered top teams. We havent won any of 4 games, despite leading every time. The performances were bad too. Even liverpool, united, spurs. We have won some games against them, but havent dominated single one. Arsenal, Schalke are probably biggest wins of season, apart from liverpool extra time and spurs final. Not exactly impressive.

Players diving, racist fans, complaining about refs and the infamous campaing, Mou rants every month about refs, opponents, home fans etc.... All the wrong highlights about this season so far. And I believe our public picture got worse too.

I think our biggest problem is our response after we take the lead. If we had better strategy, we would win about 10 more games by now. We were always good in keeping leads, but this season, its kinda disastrous. And the sad thing is that Mourinho or the players had the exact same tactic in that away game vs city few months ago and recently against psg for example. Not a single improvement or whatsoever to maintain the lead and win the game. Also the tactical approach in games we dont need to win bothers me. For example if we lost vs psg this season or atletico last season, we would put top performance in second leg (like against psg last season). But we got those decieving away goal draws and performed terribly, condsidering we have Mourinho who is tactical expert. You burn once, but not twice and Mou should know better how to play vs PSG. There was also absolutely no excuse about tiredness, becuase we had free week and psg played TWO games in that time. Mou certainly shouldnt leave, he made more improvement over any other coach we had recently, but he should improve.

Well we lost all the ''brilliance'' from autmn. And still leading PL (with such advantage) goes big thanks to shit performances from city and other teams.

So what you want to see more, or better in what balance? I personaly dont want us to go into tiki taka extreme or anything similar, but a decent performance with players showing determination, motive, spirit, team-work and overall IMPROVEMENT over the season. While winning a title (PL) is definately priority for us right now, regardless of style, but what about next season? We play extremely bad (speaking for performances, not results) since turn of the year and instead of improvement, we are regressing. Individualy and as a team. I love certain level of stability between results and good performances. For example in 2010, we wont title and we put quite a few great performances over the season. I dont want to go into Arsenal (all performance, no result), but balance, like Bayern from 2013, that should be our final goal. Good performances with good results. However recent months have shown massive stepdown from key players like Cesc, Matic, Costa, but also what worries me is that our players generaly dont improve. Hazard didnt improve his shooting one bit, Azpi is still not involved in attack enough, defence isnt sorted out,...while Hazard and Azpi made improvements in areas they were already good, they didnt improve in areas where they lack. Players must be more complete to adopt different situations, but here we have very one sided players. Either they do great defense or attack, but rarely both.

We were absolutely average since turn of the year (bar that Swansea game). We can be lucky we got all these positive results because if you watched us play, we should not win 9 of last 10 games. I would accept one heavier loss and then a mind click in players and Mou heads and then watch better performances. But no, its like this every game. Passive performances, not to say that our attackers havent clicked any better than at start of season. Fuck me is Mourinho so uncapavble of instructing Hazard, Oscar, Willian, Costa to play team game in attack? There is one example from today game. Willian has the ball on right side of penalty area. There are three chelsea players around him. NEITHER OF THEM MOVED FOR SEVERAL SECONDS. WHAT THE FUCK? They were all marked and didnt even move to get in open space, while Willian was just standing there with the ball for a miracle (typical from Willian). No wonder we cant break defences with 10 opponents inside if our players dont even move. Also, where are the one-two's between our AMs and between wingers and fullbacks? We are absolute shit in that department. Mourinho will not win CL ever if he will play counter attacks with these players who cant click together and defense based setup who cant keep the lead. Ooh and another lead thrown away, well done. I dont know what is it, but if things wont get better by end of next season, I wont be happy even if we win another PL title. To me, enjoying the games with offcourse good results is reason why I watch chelsea. But in 2015 we were shit shit and more shit. Even the games we won, we didnt dominate and in some we didnt even deserve.

Everyone is better than Cuadrado, Salah, Schurrle until they come here at chelsea and turn good again when they leave. What we need on RW is only someone in mould of Hazard in terms of quality, but more direct. Good luck finding one. Seriously I would explode if we sign Mane or anyone similar because it will be old story. Im even more pissed that we spent 30m on Cuadrado (I was actualy happy back then) who will probably turn into another flop, no matter how good player he actualy is.
-
I always dreamed of Modric/Koke-Matic-Pogba midfield. It is prototypical Chelsea and Mou midfield with strength, mobility, creativity, allround game. I would have that midfield over Messi, Ronaldo, Bale xx world class player. But will probably never happen.
-
We should target Koke, Pogba and Godin. If we play Willian AND Oscar (and Cesc) at same time, we lack creativity in attack and physicality in midfeld. But Willian on wing is essential for his hardwork. Plus there are no proper RWs anyway atm and we just spend 30m on Cuadrado. But like I said, Willian is ok, as long we would have Hazard, Cesc and Koke/Pogba who all can contribute to attack. But Oscar and Willian at the same time is a big no.
-
hahaha karma got you big mouth.
-
To me watching Chelsea is equaly satisfying as winning titles. And we are playing like absolute KRAP for three months now. We will probably win title, but I havent seen such bad run of performances by chelsea in a long time.
-
There are similarities between real and chelsea. Both started great now they are in decline. And both are known that they dont rotate.
-
Where are Cesc defenders now? Is he still recovering from injury or whatever bullshit I was told when I said he is not big game player and dissapears in second half of season. And to think he is considered as potential captain is just sad.
-
Its sad we dont have single ball playing defender in back four, everyone just kicks the ball. And then you have to watch Hazard drop deep to get that ball and run away with it through whole pitch because all defenders just hoof the ball and are useless with it.
-
For games against city, psg, real etc verratti would be much more useful than cesc.
-
We are absolute shit in keeping lead this season. I dont know why we keep on with such tactical approach if we cant get results. Two seasons in row, we calculated in CL instead of playing football and we got burned both times. Its absolutely sad we cant learn from mistakes and improve. Even with Cesc, matic and Costa we couldnt beat Psg but we could do so without them last year. Lack of heart in this team is disturbing and concerning.
-
This guy is not a winner. Simple as that.
-
You should hate the way we played not him scoring against us.
-
Still complaining about the refs despite we had 12 men yesterday. Its getting ridiculous that we think about refs all this time, players and Mou should start thinking how could THEY fucked up so bad. Our players lack balls, heart, spirit. This is exactly why you have to think twice before selling characters like Luis. We lack such type of players in decisive matches. Not saying we shouldnt sell him though.
-
Where is the spirit and the heart in this team I dont know... Sometimes we play like bunch of mercenaries. I mean how can you be so disinterested in CL game against 10 men. The negative tactics mean shit when there are no results.

It was liquidator no doubt. Everyone knows his love for Salah.
