Hmmm. Had we beaten both QPR and Southampton at home, we would then only be 6 points behind United right now...

Is it just me or does Cole tends to struggle against pacey wide players these days? Probably gonna have someone telling me "I told you so!" now.

That miss by him was truly shocking! Perhaps this is said on hindsight but with him knowing a defender is in front of him, he should have just blasted it into the top corner rather than trying to place it into the bottom. Vermaelan, I think it was, would probably have lesser of a chance to prevent that shot from going in. Apart from that, he did alright. Helped us to defend those late bombardment of corners from Arsenal and won 1-2 free kicks too.

Finally, a home win! But goodness me, that was a torture watching the last 10-15 minutes! A massive win nonetheless given our recent home form and chance to pull away from our Top 4 rivals. On the other hand, think this game reflects the inconsistency in us at the moment. Completely outplayed, outpassed and outfought Arsenal in the first half but saw none of that whatsoever in the second when we just almost switched off and allowed Arsenal back in the game. At the moment, when we play well, we really really do play well. However, when we play badly, we are really really bad. No consistency or lacking that middle ground of both aspects. Must improve the consistency if we are to achieve what we can achieve this season.

Not optimistic about this at all. Could well suffer a defeat and face more disappointment.

But our last 2 home wins against Arsenal have come when we scored first...

Well, that's because he's playing for Chelsea. If he plays for Madrid, Barcelona, United or even City, he would be in by now.

One can't help but to feel terribly frustrated that we are sticking Torres and sold Sturridge.

Can't help but to feel annoyed watching Sturridge scoring the goals right now, especially when it's for Liverpool! How on earth did we sell him and kept that flop blondie?!! Torres couldn't even score a goal now, let alone a tap-in!

What?! Play both Ba and Torres, of all the games, against Arsenal?! Surely not. And playing 4-4-2 would be suicidal against Arsenal's 3-man midfield especially when our 2-man midfield is average at the moment!
