Not sure about this transfer, even if De Bruyne only goes there on loan. Schurrle is not exactly what we need right now in terms of another wide player. Right now, it just feels we are buying young talents for the sake of it without having a proper thought in building a balance(and quality) squad. If this transfer goes through, it would show another case of us not addressing the main problem with the squad and just indulging ourselves with buying a not top priority player!

Because of it, Rubin got an undeserved goal and it's a lifeline for them in this tie. Decent result anyway. Speaking of Rubin, was quite surprised how average they look. Despite Torres's good performance yesterday, definitely still want Ba to start here. Do not want to take the risk with Torres as he may end up playing rubbish again! We know what we'll get from Ba on Sunday and it's needed especially Sunderland are likely to react in a positive manner after PDC's appointment.

Any surprises? Given he is facing Mourinho again, the media are bound to ask him questions about it. He said what he wanted to about his relationship with Jose etc and the media just reported the way it is. It's not like they twist his words or anything and it just so happens this comes at a time when all this Mourinho are running rife. Just don't see what is wrong with it, whether it adds to the story or not.

Get where you're coming from but have you read his interviews elsewhere and not just in Sky Sports? There is a reason why the media published what they did, non-story or not.

Watching the goal again, if that was Torres, he wouldn't even be making that kind of run. Likely to just stick with the CBs and not move anywhere..
