Great game today! All the more reason why he should be played over Torres whenever possible! And his goal today was rather similar to the one he scored for Newcastle last season against United.

Wasn't a great performance but thought we played well and created some good chances, which we should have scored. At the moment, we are seriously lacking that ruthlessness in killing teams off. Too much overplaying at times. Other than that, felt we also defended well all game. Restricted United to half chances at best.

We will now play Manchester City in the semi finals on 14th April, 3 days after playing Rubin Kazan in Russia. And as a result of this, our league game against Tottenham has been postponed.

In the current form table based on last 6 PL games, Chelsea are in 13th having picked up only 9pts, which is the same as Villa and West Ham! Arsenal & Spurs have picked up 15pts and 12pts respectively from the last 6 PL games. Both record only bettered by Man Utd who got 18 out of 18. IF QPR win at Fulham tomorrow, they would have picked up the same number of points as Chelsea in last 6 PL games - 9 - & they're in 20th!

Yes but no guarantee we'll win it especially with it being Fulham away. And we still gotta go to Anfield.

Wasn't just them though. Was basically the whole back then. Even Cole and Ivanovic during that season knows how to deliver consistent quality crosses. Now, one doesn't even cross anymore and the other, takes yonks to put a ball into the box! OR even when they do cross the ball, the quality of it is desperately lacking.

Wouldn't put it past them to take 9 points from there. Everton would be without Fellaini and Pienaar. We are well...we, consistently inconsistenty. And Man City have hardly anything to play for already. Not sure they would bother too much apart from making sure Spurs & the rest don't catch up to them in 2nd. Should also note that our game against Spurs would be postponed if we get to the FA Cup Semi Final.

Azpilicueta wasn't even poor by any means. Wasn't great but certainly not poor like the others. And to say Ivanovic is not even a problem in the mess we're in now is somewhat ridiculous. He may not be mainly at fault for all of our problems but he's certainly one of the problems. We have conceded a fair amount of goals this season as a result of his woeful passive defending and the goals conceded yesterday simply added to the list. He's not even being affected by the overall team performance as his own individual performance has already been rubbish since pre-season!
