  1. I do know and understand that people have their opinions and would have thoughts to express but it seems that whenever there is something to be happy about and ones that are worth praising like Hazard's recent performances in this case, there would be some people who throws up some irrelevant issue(at this point of time) that dampens the mood around. Are we really all that miserable and can't just enjoy this good moment?
  2. Benitez is likely to have that FA Cup replay game in mind when selecting the team here but need to forget that game and play the strongest team here as ultimately, this game carries more significance than the United game. This is a potential banana skin game IMO. And Southampton's results under Pochettino proves that. In the 8 league games under him, Southampton have W2 D3 L3 and 2 of those wins came against Man City and Liverpool while they then dropped points against the likes of Wigan, QPR, Norwich etc. They even drew 0-0 against Everton in Pochettino's first game in charge. Overall in 4 home games under him, Southampton have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 1 & took 7 points from 9 there against City, Liverpool and Everton. Also, Ba has scored 4 goals since joining us and 3 of those came against Southampton. Play him here or against United 2 days later? We do have the Rubin Kazan game in the following Thursday as well, which he obviously can't play in. So Torres may well start this one. It's been awhile since he last started a league game.

  6. Chelsea have kept 11 clean sheets in 29 Premier League matches this season, compared to just 10 in 38 in the whole of last season.
  7. Think that might be a tad too optimistic to suggest they'll stay with us for the next 8-10 years especially with Hazard TBH. Lewandowski.
  8. One would like to think Roman would have realized by now that his constant sacking of managers has led to us running out of top quality manager to manage us and he would not be so impatient with managers. And the scenario with AVB where stories seem to indicate his reluctancy to sack him means he is probably willing to give the manager more time here.
  9. The Times admits error over 'DFL' So, it is a scam after all.
  10. Yes but shame that the video used was a fan made video. Completely destroy emotional moment then.
  11. Lampard scores 200th Chelsea goal! Here's 10 of his best to celebrate midfielder's double century
  12. Well, since Lampard has reached 200 goals, I've changed the number to 203 in the thread title.
  13. Hazard just turns into a joker whenever he speaks English. His whole demeanor would just change and he will suddenly look like a naughty & cheeky kid in school!
  14. That's Chelsea for you. And speaking about crazy, Fulham's away record in PL London derby this season reads - P5 W1 D2 L2. They won against Spurs. Drew with us and Arsenal. Lost to West Ham and QPR.
  15. Fulham's win at White Hart Lane today was only their second win in their last 43 Premier League London derby away matches - W2 D15 L26.
  16. Not very important but... 1. Chelsea have won back-to-back PL matches for the first time today since 30th December 2012 - after beating Norwich & Everton. 2. Chelsea are the only side to have kept a clean sheet against West Ham in the Premier League London derbies this season.
  17. If anyone is interested, here's how the PL London derby mini league has looked so far..
  18. Wonderful performance. Offensively, we were superb with Mata and Hazard looked deadly especially the latter. He was definitely in the mood! Created tons of chances and we really should have scored more than just the 2. The final scoreline really flatters West Ham. Defensively, we were alright though worrying at times and does give one the panic when Carroll keeps winning the headers. Thought Cahill was poor in dealing with him as he got bullied far too easily by him. That aside, great performance and good result all around. We won. Spurs lost. Back up to 3rd.
  19. Could and should have surpassed Bobby Tambling's record by now if it weren't for those misses but with another goal today, he is a step closer to equalling the record and breaking it.
  20. As I was saying the other day... His just keeps getting better and better. His all round performance today was just simply exceptional. Simply unplayable.
  21. Suspected Torres dressed up as Ba today. Shocking misses but as Ollie pointed out, he had a stinker today but if this continues, then we really do have a problem!
