The club's obsession with the obvious big name strikers is just plain pathetic. There's a cheaper option out there in Lewandowski, who fits into the playing style we're trying to implement perfectly and yet we don't even seem to be pursuing him!

Nothing has been confirmed yet. Was just the typical BS rumour going around Twitter, Facebook etc. The replay is still 2 weeks away and who the ref would be is likely only to be announced 1 week before the match.

Safe to say the suspense is just plain torturing! I believe someone mentioned this before but IF we don't finish in the Top 4 this season, then I highly doubt Mourinho will return. If all this rumours are true about him agreeing to return, then all that depends is our final position in the league.

If you did, you would have known what I meant when I said Bale is basically a one-dimensional player because of those playing attributes. Ronaldo is capable of so much and more accomplished than that.

You can't be serious? At least Ronaldo is much more varied in his play than Bale is right now.

This is what annoys me about this whole media wankfest of Bale. Granted he has talent but all he ever does or is good at is simply running at pace at the opposition, driving in low crosses from wide position from those runs, shooting from distance and scoring goals from free kicks. Have never really seen him play any defence splitting passes or any that makes you go 'wow! that is a brilliant through ball' and yet the media go wanking all over him and compare him with Ronaldo, Messi etc. Bale is a player that currently thrives on having space. Don't give him that and you'll see a limited player, one that is not capable of playing those incisive passes and operate in the way Messi, Ronaldo, Mata, Hazard etc can in those tight areas.

Arsenal won and are now just 2 points behind us. Win tomorrow and the gap will be back at 5 points. However because of that win, it has already set my nerves jangling ahead of tomorrow. Thanks a lot Swansea, thanks a lot!

Think his sudden burst in good performance in the last 15-20 minutes yesterday has more gotta do with Steaua running out of steam, rather than anything to do with the kick or the goal (good finish by the way).
