Lol did some people here only start watching football recently? Benitez never ever answers questions directly even at Liverpool he always sidestepped or gave a random answer, nothing new lol. I am chuffed and can't wait till the end of Jan to see what he has accomplished as I think anything before then in terms of implementing his ideas and the players grasping them it'd be too early to judge. I.e. if we lose against city it's not a huge deal he's been here 5 minutes.

Something of note is that in the later years Rafa wanted X player but the Liverpool board identified Y as the cheaper option to his X so they ended up with people like aquilani for example

Much needed decision, there were signs things were going sour and he was given enough time to fix them in my opinion, way back at the super cup, then Shaktar, then united, Shaktar again etc

Ergh My GOD, this forum sometimes and the fans that inhabit it, such dim views on the game they supposedly love to watch, shouldn't you know a bit better and have some better knowledge on managers by now? This is a GOOD move for us. Unfortunately a few people I Know are jumping on the band wagon and saying they will know renew their season tickets etc. because its an 'outrage'.. Fans are phoning Talksport to say get Roman out.. GET REAL! Its all well and good posting "FUCK YOU CFC" "FUCK YOU ROMAN" on an internet forum but take a breath, take a minute, or two? Realise that deep down this is the best move or we'd be hitting 6th place again.

This owner has turned us into a nearly club and a nearly bankrupt club at that to an elite european club so lets cut the foul language and have some faith? His decisions have been working so far in terms of trophies, or would you rather have a manager like Wenger? Ha.

Absolutely chuffed. Look you guys can dress this up how you like and moan about the changes in manager but let me tell you the days I started going to Chelsea, bare in mind I'm 24 years old, we weren't good at all.. what I mean is that we always yoyo'd around, the occasional cup run and such. Roman sacks managers, we have a full trophy cabinet since he took over and as far as I'm concerned he can hire and fire whoever/how many ever he likes as long we stay an Elite European Club that WINS trophies instead of makes top 4 EVERY season and thats our only goal e.g. Arsenal. This may come as a bit harsh to some of you but open your eyes and take off your blue tinted glasses, take a realistic view on this season and you can clearly see that the players are devoid of instructions and relying on individual brilliance. As far as I'm concerned he is now the manager of Chelsea Football Club, and he deserves our support from the off until results or footballing reasons go sour.

I do love Luiz but he is terrible with concentration, eagerness to get infront of the striker and gets turned very easily (used to happen to Riccy C years and years ago before he wised up) however when he does make a mistake he has a foul attitude toward the other players as if to say 'Wasn't me.'

Initial thoughts on him? Good enough to make an impression here if he comes back or goes to another club for Premiership experience? Perhaps like a Fulham or something like that?
