Do a Scholes, please.

I don't think he's played well the last few games but I feel like the above statistics justify his presence on the field which allow other players movement to shine i.e. opposition are worried a lot about Mata it gives space to other players if you get what I mean??
-
Agreed with above people are just too used to our team and formation we need to change it up they just go narrow in the final third and wait for one of our passes to go astray or get a block in then we are always open for the counter attack. I'd actually like to see something like Cech Cesar bran Luiz cole Ramires Oscar oriol Moses torres Marin But perhaps not against west ham this weekend. The idea is that mata and hazard both have had a few bad games and this may work well giving them a bench for 60 minutes or so. It's setup with energy blanketing our back four then releasing our wingers for the counter attack in Marin and Moses. Why have I put oriol there? He can pass 5-10+ whereas rameris is honestly one of the most frustrating players to watch when it comes to passing

hahahaha!! Season f*cked? Can't be serious. I think people got a bit too carried away with the start of the season and the EPL defenders/midfield that had not seen Hazard, Oscar yet. Now they have adapted to them and know how to play against us people are like "OMG WE ARE NOT SCORING, ROBBIE JUST GOT SACKED! NOW RAFA IS HERE WE ALWAYS DRAW" Its two games, Fulham are a notorious team for us over the past few seasons, draw @ Man city, not bad results at all and not bad after 5 training sessions. People forget we finished 6th and 25 points off the top last season, and for good reason, we were not good enough. Give it time. I'd take 4th spot right now because thats what we all thought/expected at the start of the season? Don't forget that.

Needs to buck up his ideas tbh, Mikel goes to ACON soon or we are simply going to dip into the market to get a sub.
-
Prefer to see Hazard moved and Oscar benched for Marin, for a few games.
-
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Fingers crossed for this so much! Watched a youtube comp on our CL final and after his pen slapping the badge, put a massive smile on my face.
-
Well if that knee story that is circulating is not true then great - I want to believe what has been said above by Rafa but I just don't, why is Rafa suddenly the messiah with Torres, why couldn't anyone else figure that he needed to train A B or C way or do X Y Z in the gym? Surely we have some of the best staff/facilities around @ Cobham. Ergh.

PSG according to reports on the radio

Glad to see some people have sense on here in term of robbies tactical inept management this season! Timing was right if not I'd prefer before the juve game. Gives the players just over a month to get rafas tactics down and he is able to make his recommendations to Michael emenalo on who should be signed to fit his system this season, for what it's worth. I.e. another CM maybe a striker or something
-
Looks as if he is scared to take a risk, earlier in the season he made a sloppy risky pass and we conceded maybe that's why plus we hardly ever see him run at players now
-
He initially refused in the summer.

Pulls on the heart strings I agree but like I said, he wasn't right for us going forward.
-
Quite right on having your own opinion but sorry its a short sighted one. Who else was ready to take the reins? Until Pep came around. Benitez was asked, refused, he was first choice, reportedly. Di Matteo was the perfect option for Roman, 2 year deal, easy pay off, appease the fans by giving the former player/CL winner a contract just waiting for him to fall short, which he did. Again, as a former player I love the guy and yes its brutal but thats Roman, and its a winning formula at the moment in terms of trophies in the last 7 years and the growth of our club.

After you google it be sure to re-read my post about Di Matteo and you may see some sense about his sacking.
-
Wow, 'have a word with yourself' sorry Danny Dyer! Internet E-peen must be huge after that post. Anyone who knows a thing or two about football, I'll excuse you on this occasion (obviously), will know that Di Matteo was far from what we needed at the helm, did he win the Champions League? Yeah he was in charge at the time, so was Avram Grant when we got to the final, lets all attribute to his tactical masterful ways.. I mean, he's surely in the running at United when Fergie retires I'm sure.. oh.. wait.. Dream world! And that is exactly what Di Matteo was living in. Do I love him as a former player? Yes, vividly remember watching THAT Boro goal. Do I think he was right to stay in charge? No. Too often he relied on individual brilliance from our new players, for 'something' to happen in a match rather than make a change tactical or simply make a substitution when it called for it. It was SO plain to see and he was on borrowed time from the moment he signed that two year deal. I feel really sorry for the amount of people who 'damn' the club after sackings and such, the reason this has caused such uproar is because he was a former player and he loved the club. Granted, Thanks Robbie but I am more than happy for Rafa (in the INTERIM) to hopefully steady the ship with some clean sheets and tactical nous. Is he the best thing since sliced bread? No. Would he be my first choice? No. But I agree with the change.

I'm far from nandos biggest fan but its not like he missed sitters today or had many half chances either
-
Lordy, it was the right thing to do. Problems started @ super cup.
-
Def impressed with his tracking of runners it's rare to find that in a full back
-
Clean sheet at least, players looked up for it despite us being lightweight upfront, we gave it a go!
-
Solid.
-
Honestly City remind me of us in 06/07, 07/08. A big physical side with some lightweights in there, what I mean in that is they bullied us off the ball so often it was SO frustrating to watch Mata pull out of a 70/30 ball in his favour.
-
heard on the radio he'll have something to do with the youth/reserve setup, again as above, make of that what you wish!
-
He knows he cannot burn the pace to get away so he tries to get a foul at least people see that as a positive its just him papering over the MASSIVE crack.
-
Why would you want to watch that fat prick Corden. I dont swear often.
