And how did Barca end exactly for JT? Ah yes, sitting in the dressing room watching us make history, without him.. Anyways as I said, would prefer the CB pairing I said however we all know it'll be JT and Luiz.. Hope for the best - whenever Luiz gets a ton of criticism he seems to up his game.

Having JT on the pitch? That worries me as much as having Luiz on there! Fast tricky players, not John's cup of tea. Would prefer Brana and Cahill as CB pairing or Luiz rather than having Terry

Chelsea lodge complaint about Clattenberg

I have to agree with Fergie I find it imaginable that a referee has said that especially with every thing that's going on with racism at the moment I just simply cannot fathom it. I just hate that we always seem to drag our club through the mud with a mo one likes us we don't care attitude, whereas I agree to an extent bu it ends up in people not giving is credit for our football which has been a complete 180 and the closest thing to barca, barring one or two teams, outside la liga -
Do not want.

Totally agree, a few players need to show their heart in this game same as going down 2-1 at spurs we need to see that same determination even if we concede 1 or 2 it doesn't have me worried like previous seasons I.e we won games by 1-0 or something struggled to score/like a battering ram we wore teams down.. Now it's completely different I've almost got a man united feel to supporting Chelsea this season and what I mean is if it gets to 80 minutes and we need 2 goals I'm confident we can/could get them whereas before I'd be like 'we lost.'

Am I the only one that believes he is our best CB? Terry - way past it, sorry to those that do not share the same opinion, captain or not, 04/05 + 05/06 were his best years and living off those since - tad harsh but MY opinion. Cahill - 2nd best defender, he is young don't forget and I firmly believe he will take over as club captain in a few years. Lacks positional sense sometimes and I've said in previous posts that the worst enemy for this guy is a striker with good movement/has an issue with tracking runs, it'll come with experience. Luiz - hot and cold, I love the guy my but gosh, you never know what your going to get
-
I still feel he makes mistakes frequently even now but he also makes some world class saves too. thankfully his mistakes are not costing us, at the moment which is why they are not really picked up on of course.

Doesn't say much tbh

^^^ Amazes me how many people are not aware that Mikel used to play a totally different position and got on his case when he didn't perform in the DM role straight away/like Maka did. Really gripes me! Back on topic - There's a piece by Redknapp on Sky Sports, and I totally agree with it, he changed the game, works so hard (which I did not expect btw) and really is one of our first names on the team sheet.
-
Thought he played very well Although I must say, on the penalty, in my opinion Hernandez see's him coming and waits for ANY contact then goes tumbling over as he knows the ball is too high for him coming in from a Utd player.. So he needs to learn that its going to happen and adapt tbh.
-
Impressed when Hazard ran at United tbh - they were petrified to touch him most of the time, your never going to beat a man/men everytime but I like to see him try as more often than not he does.

At least Cesar will get a chance to shine now.

Poor game yesterday? I'm one of Ashley's biggest fans and its evident that the last 3 games have been some of his poorest, he is usually focused 100% of the time but these last few games his focus has dwindled big time and I can't help but think its since this contract mess got out about the one year two year deal thing. I can't understand for the life of me why players just don't accept the one year, play their best and receive another one year deal!?
-
I have a feeling this was it for Torres unfortunately, Studge will get his chance on Wednesday and if he plays well I think he starts against Swansea, if not I feel that HE is def going to go in the summer or jan winter break.
-
Anyone else impressed with how well he linked up with people when he came on and as soon as he passed the ball SPRINTED into the box for any attempted cross etc.
-
Completely agree with the post a while back, there is a big fuss about Lampard and JT, and I've been advocating that they should move on for a while now with snipes at both in my posts. They are simply past it, BUT both could do a job if they realise they are not bigger than the club i.e. Scholes/Giggs otherwise its as a post said earlier Beckham left for the good of the club etc. Our squad has proven this year that its capable without both, more so Lampard.
-
I think Bremen would be a good club to loan him to.
-
Sorry guys I was under the impression that our striker was scoring goals and our front 4 were performing excellently together after playing only a handful of games together? Ah.. right.. forget that did we
-
I'm perfectly happy for him to keep playing like this whilst Mata is on fire, when Mata dips, Hazard will peak, when Hazard dips again, Oscar will peak
-
C'mon lets not be daft and Arsenal-like here chaps, he's as good as off in the summer, don't get too attached, its the best way! Calling it now, he goes to Arsenal.

Let me just say short and sweet.. ..Today was some of the best football I've seen us play in YEARS. The small one touch triangular positional passing we play, my jaw was open in the last 10-15 minutes consistently. I would love to see this team keep their heads cool and cruise to the title. Also, I know i know, I said short and sweet, w/e lol - I'm shocked at how quickly Oscar has slotted in, its easy to see he hasn't quite adapted fully to the Prem (obv) but if this is him not adapted I'm looking forward to next season Our front 4 compliment eachother so well. Torres had 2 one on ones today and each game he's getting better and better so patience pays!!
-
Finishing was poor today but work rate and link up were fantastic. Anyone else love watching Torres, Oscar and co in and around the penalty box? They are getting to know how each other move/play
-
Its not that Im a Torres fan, I'm a Chelsea fan. I'll give criticism where its due, like his reaction to being subbed for instance, not just for him but any player. What I cannot stand is unjust criticism of a player that is not missing heaps of chances, simply because, the chances are not there to begin with, thats my point.
-
Also to add, for anyone watching the last 10 minutes of the match where we broke on Stoke quite a few times, Oscar delayed that ball that Torres loves, sort of like the one that Moses got.
