Good game, by far not one of my favourite players at all, I feel he hinders the team MOST of the time. Him and lamps seem to get drawn to the ball instead of picking up runners, which is frustrating, Ivan and Cahill have the same problem, ball watchers!

He's very young, first season, so far I'm impressed, he's done what the manager has asked, track back and help etc. with no complaints and been one of our best players.

Would love to bring him in, £9-10m, look how Anelka done for us! end of story.

Needs to cross more and get out the habit of passing backwards , gets into such good positions for early crosses eg mata assist otherwise no complaints

There are a few problems in our team, for the most part Ivan and Cahill have been good but as I said before those balls in behind kill us. Lets not forget guys he hasn't played cb consistently for us until this season!

Him and Cahill have a real problem letting strikers and wingers run last them/in behind, don't track them at all

First 40 minutes he was brilliant, very direct, rode challenges but looked out of steam in the second half

Agree with ramires decision making is terrible, gets into such good positions infront of goal or has options to pass for tap ins

Btw how was Ashley not motm? With this contract stuff behind him he out in a brilliant brilliant performance.

Why is it our CBs both have issues with ball watching?? They consistently let people run in behind and lose players. So annoying happens most games!! First half we looked like a real top European side but second was abismal but we managed to scrape through, game cried out for terry.

I cannot understand why people want Pep? Inherited an amazing squad, including the worlds best player that consistently changes matches by himself let alone Xavi and Iniesta, it is always attack attack attack, he seems to have no plan B.
