Agreed however it is a trait with Mata that this happens which is why I can't blame Rafa for benching him and bringing him on for impact play, much like Hazard.

The changes at half time/10 minutes into the second half was some of the reason I was happy to have Rafa when RDM left as that wasnt what RDM was doing when the game cried out for it. Bold decisions from Rafa paid off..

Completely agree, every Chelsea knows or should know that Jose was THE master at taking the papers and/or most other media outlets attention away from the players. How much has been reported about Madrids sub par performance in a game that United were bossing, how about Ramos's own goal to which his individual error cost them a goal in the first leg. Answer? None or hardly anything it's a about what Jose has to say or what he's said.

Wow.. It's unfortunate that a lot of people have viewed this as an attack on the fans, really short sighted and.. I rarely use this term but downright dumb and blinkered. I don't think he is in the wrong for telling some home truths there, I agree with what he said. We, as fans, should support out team at the games, he said not to worry about him 'ok rafa thanks for letting us know so we can concentrate on supporting the team as we know you won't be here' that is as fans that we need to say.
