I do agree that Mata does frustrate me during games, but then that's what I used to be like watching Berbatov for spurs, frustrating for 70 minutes then do something amazing that makes you gloss over the previous 70!

I'd see this as a Deco move more than anything, like above if he accepts he is 3rd choice or something then his experience is great, especially for the younger players too, at £5m + Ba wages, I'd be happy with that, very happy.

Everyone always said injuries would eventually take their toll. Go back and watch our 04/05 + 05/06 seasons, Terry was undoubtedly one of the best CBs, if not the best at the time. Its not about pace before someone points out 'OMG OMG YEARS AGO' he's never been pacey at all it was his anticipations and positioning, he gets caught too square now, lax on concentration, lost that yard on his tackling where he dives in now.

Coming back, for the first time I actually believe it whole heartedly.
