Positives and negatives for sure. Glad we are now capable of scoring a few when we are under it though.

To be honest ramires was good there last season but we were always worried about needing him for penetration in the final third even if his passing is woeful. I agree I'm worried about Matic but let's see how the first big game pans out should be a belter, will be won or lost in midfield against city for sure.

I could only see him improving EPL clubs, and we won't do that. Makes sense to keep him until Jan, at the earliest, just incase but I can see him going next summer for £10m or so due to contract length.

I honestly prefer Willian playing over Oscar, I feel we are so much more quicker on the ball and the turnover is snappy rather than Oscar, not hating on Oscar just my personal preference.

Tbh by Jose's press conference you could tell he was a little annoyed/let down by Torres or something leaving it so late to go, but at least we can swap for a decent striker like Remy, its really isn't a downgrade or a massive upgrade we've just got someone with pace and who we think will be better value for money than our £50m let down.

To be honest, the whole team did not play well in the last game, but he certainly looks happier/freedom wise - less pressure on everytime he gets the ball to do something special as we have other outlets now..he has more space or when he is limited by space because he has 2-3 players on him then he passes to another creative player who has found the left space. Its the second game - but pleased with so far, especially when Nugent was 1v1 I actually had to rewind the clip to see it was the #10 Hazard sprinting back to try and get to it. Early days, big games - must be switched on this season.

Arsenal asked to take Torres on loan, rejected though apparently.

I never said he missed a catch on a cross? He hesitates on coming out and goes back on his line sometimes, thats all, believe it or not its ok to have constructive criticism of players, God forbid.

Good, so far. Bad habit of going to come for a cross or high ball and hesitating, only negative I've noticed so far. Looking forward to a big match under high high pressure.
