Great finish, great movement before that, such a shame to get injured.

Comfortable game, didn't make any lapses in concentration like we saw in pre-season etc. telegraphing his passing way too much coming out from the back though was literally the only negative I could take from his performance. Should be playing basketball with that leap.

Tenacity and technical, game was done and dusted in truth but he still has to come on and perform.

Not wrong, he looks so out of place and there doesn't seem to be much organisation with the formation/tactics which surprises me

Prefer Makelele.. only because he was tiny and everytime made a foul we saw a massive grin and a "what!? me????" look

He's so rash and so keen to get in front of the striker or midfielder that we'd have a field day getting free kicks around the box. No bones though he is a brilliant player just lacks concentration. Jamie carragher said it brilliantly along with neville that he just sometimes looks bored out there

Too right, when rumoured @ £25m per season I thought of United.. £50m per season, surely we should aim at somewhere between £30-35m perhaps a shade upward?

Forget the penalty, I can't look whenever he steps up, prefer me a Luiz style penalty, 56 yard run up and smash it. Its quite funny I watched the game with a few Arsenal friends yesterday and all through the game the phrase "Just tackle it him now" was coined so many times and its a classic case of 'sofa seat syndrome', Hazard has the most unusually brilliant style of ball control and dribbling. Just when I think he is to be tackled or he is going one way he suckers the players in to either a foul or goes past him, its brilliant to watch and funny to see fans saying its easy to tackle him why did Laurent give that penalty.. watch Hazard, I genuinely thought he was going to be right where Laurent put his leg for the tackle, almost a Ricardo C anticipation but he switched it, again, suckered me in too! Classic Eden.

Frustrating performance probably bred from not having a regular spot and the 'pressure to perform' mentality. We won the game, positives and negatives from it, Andre was a negative and lets see how he plays next time.

When Jose says he is injured and then he starts I think yeah mind games but he looks laboured so perhaps its an injury contributing to that. Now we have a proper striker its like having an egg in your pocket when skiing, protect him! No idea why I just thought of that but you get what I mean

Ryan Bertrand, the great mystery.. Watch him for Chelsea and bar the odd bad game he always impresses me. But? We often than not concede from the left side in the games he starts, but its nothing like he slipped, or he left his man, its so weird I can't explain it lol. Really want him to have a blinding season and come back to us to prove a point.
