in regards to the game Gary Nev put it perfect, we do not go for the neck, we sit at 1-0 in big games and hope for a counter attack, mistake or set piece to go 2-0 to kill it when we are in the ascendancy.

Popped over to Redcafe and I consistently see praise for Blind yet I thought he was their weak link yesterday? Lost the ball 4-5 times in really bad positions + lacks any sort of pace but positionally higher than average to make up for it. Not seeing where the hype is, not just because im a blue!

Rami is required in big games, I know Oscar has played well lately but I would of much preferred to see Rami-Cesc-Matic midfield against United.

I'd play him against Shrews (Start him, get him booked and then take him off), less suspicious that way¬!

Must have been watching another game, Willian was brilliant, bad touch for the Smalling 1v1 but your telling me that nobody else had a bad touch that game? We didn't have that final touch/pass in the final 3rd in the first half but nobody mentions those because there are so many.. Willian played fine, got off a few shots which I think he needs to do, brilliant pressing too, prefer him to play in the middle instead of Oscar for big games, speeds our play up much more.

Thats a shame, I would like him as I think he is criminally under-rated however I don't want to stunt MVG Saying that I'd gladly have Chelsea pay him £150k a week to keep Arsenal from getting him.

Id like to see him used in cups games against better opposition just to get a feel for where he's at since he's been training with the first team etc. Maribor isn't the best example nor is it the EPL so I'd like to see us draw someone Top 8 EPL and play him then.

As much as I loved Carlo, no plan B.. Never forget the games against Inter Milan and his eyebrow on the touchline.

Glad he tried to over do things in this match and get some momentum ready for United if I'm honest after hearing Jose's conversation with Eden's father, there are games where you can be focused/disciplined and I don't think this was one for obv reasons. Nice to let the leash off but we're kidding ourselves if we are expecting this going forward against teams that we need to be tactically aware of, i.e. Sunday.

Not sure he will play if I'm honest, LVG knows that our whole team knows he hates to be pressured and can be bullied easily. Our midfield has REALLY stepped up its niggling fouls/bully tactics/power play recently.

Long season, everyone is needed, he is not playing for a reason and only Jose knows it. I assume we trust Jose and his judgement..? I want Salah to do well however I also think he needs to keep his head down and work hard.

Great season last year, stagnated a touch so far this year as people are more aware of his game etc. but expect him to go through a rich vein later in the season when people take their eye off him again. Rumbles of a new contract surfaced a month or so ago. No contract. Rumoured PSG are interested. No contract Rumoured Real Madrid are interested. No contract. Rumoured Chelsea are interested. No contract. Lets see what happened in the near future, but pretty poor from his agent/entourage to try and secure another new contract.

Just an excuse for Keane to keep talking to be honest its rare for anyone to take an interest in him since he failed so hard at management when he was tipped for great things, writes a book instead. Comfortable game, didn't make any lapses in concentration like we saw in pre-season etc. telegraphing his passing way too much coming out from the back though was literally the only negative I could take from his performance. Should be playing basketball with that leap.
