Yes he was complaing how Roman got Sheva, how the board choose Alex over other defender he wanted and other stuff. The club has not learned!
-
You are a bit late with that news men!
-
And that's why I repeat, that Mourinho left for that reason. So why would he want to come back or any great manager when the current manager you got can't get that?
-
I think a lot of fans are short term minded. They only think about now and the next year maybe two or three. A mid to long term plan has a time span of 5 to 7 years range.
-
I think he has in mind of keeping those older players. The Drogba, Lampard, Cole, Malouda and such. Remember the suppose text where Jose said they will be together???
-
You have a point but the Romeu situation with Essien was that Essien was far superior to Romeu in his first full game against United. With the Bosingwa there is no defending. I wanted to bitch slap AVB for that before the game started.
-
I do get a bit piss of by what Sloth says, that AVB did not buy players, not enough. But before I go saying it's AVB fault, would I like to know is it AVB fault or someone else? Since it is been well documented that the coach has little say on transfer unlike the board. So who's fault is it? AVB or the board?

Talking in past tense? Like Liverpool love to do?

Neither is being a flip flopper....

Porto chairman: AVB's move to Chelsea was a mistake Porto chairman Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa says Andre Villas-Boas’ move to Chelsea was a ‘mistake’ and believes he could face the axe at Stamford Bridge this season. Villas-Boas has endured a turbulent time in west London since leaving Porto last summer - Chelsea currently sit in fifth place outside the Champions League spots - and his former employer is not sure the young Portuguese made the right decision. Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pinto da Costa said: "Villas-Boas went because of the huge offer Chelsea made (€15 million). "He left thinking that Chelsea was a unique opportunity, but I believe that was a mistake because there would have been others." Pinto da Costa also feels that the presence of the old guard at Stamford Bridge could hamper Villas-Boas’ moves to take the club forward. "He needs time to mould his own team and he can't do that as long as there are players, as I've heard, who exchange text messages with Mourinho, and (Roman) Abramovich knows this," he added. However, Pinta da Costa added that Villas-Boas will have no trouble finding work if he is ousted at Stamford Bridge. "The only thing that will topple Villas-Boas is if he fails to qualify for the Champions League," he said. "If he leaves Chelsea, he'll be the next coach of Inter."http://www.talksport...sea-was-mistake

Given that I like Chelsea I don't want them to finish out of top 4, but for a lot of reasons that makes sense finishing outside of top 4 will be great for our long term planning. Cause we will see what the board and Roman real intentions are. If they stick by their man after that, then we know he will stay for some time. And by then as you mention when can get rid of those players that don't respect the chain, and we can play those hungry youngster that want a shot like Ryan and Lukaku. The only downside is the money lost, but if Chelsea can managed to comeback to the CL next season it would not be bad....and they should otherwise 2 season no CL then AVB is really history!

Roman sacks Mourinho to appoint Avram, then fire him for a manager that can bring great style like Scolari, to fire him after a couple of months. After the little spell of Hiddink, hires Carlo as his best choice to lead us to glory to only sack him after his second season. And now appoints AVB as the next big thing because of what he did to Porto to now potentially sacking after a couple of months... Roman and the board are a clueless bunch of fools, that will continue to do dumb shit for ages to come!

Nothing

I remember in the summer when Ron said he did not know what cause the big slump during the second season of Carlo. So they fire Carlo and got a manager of their choosing because they want to build a project for long term. Now the same stuff happens again with a different manager. So the board and Roman got their answer. Has nothing to do with the coach but a horrible squad, with mercenary that don’t care much about the team. It's amazing how performance drop drastically when you cut their bonuses.....

SAF was pathetic for like his first 3 seasons or so.....

Just like Wenger last couple of seaons? SAF this season in CL? He screw up big deal. He will learn just like these managers.
-
He admitted his mistake, and that he will think about his decision making. Is a good step up. I remember that you said you wanted hear this like Mancini does. So he said it publicly that he screwed up and will see what needs to be done. Thus we can judge by next game who he plays to see if he really decided to change some stuff, or it's more of the same.
-
"Maybe I will have some retrospective of what I did and think about the preparation. "I will reflect hard with my technical staff on my decision-making." -AVB If that thinking curtails of dropping Bosingwa then he has done one smarter move! And if he can add some more playing time to Ryan to change it up with A. Cole then that will be a great bonus.
-
Yeah well we knew that was going to happen sometime when Roman sack him.
-
Your dreaming.
-
Like I said it happens to big team. Has happen to Bayern, but because they are an establish club that players know they will continue challenging for tittle in coming season. Take a look at Juventus rise. They have been out, but they started spending and spending wisely on players. Now are contenders for the Serie and back to CL. So if Chelsea fails to get CL this season will it kill us? No, it will be bad in terms of money wise, but it might be a good shake up to think deep about what our board and Roman wants to do. Because spending so much money and firing manager every season has not work for the past half decade. A new approach must be attempt.
-
And that's why Torres left. Because he can accept one season with no CL. Two or three seasons with little money spending is no good. If he saw Liverpool spending well and buying good players then he would have stayed. That won't be the case for Chelsea. Well it should not as they are already talking about next season project.
