Yeah when you watched a game like this and see that passion by Torres, then you can clearly see that what he was saying was the truth from the beginning. That our team is slow to build up, and that is not his type of game. We need to play a fast tempo like Spurs or United. And it looks like it will never happen with the players we got. It sucks cause Torres is getting all the stick for this pedestrian midfield. I really think if AVB does great buys for midfield and wingers in the summer, then next season he should explode. Chelsea should not marginalize Torres after the summer. He is not the problem! We can get rid of Drogba, Malouda, and Kalou. And stick it with Lukaku, Torres, and Sturridge, or buy another striker and completely throw to waste 50 mill.....

Descent win. I thought Torres was one of the best player in the first half. If we have players setting up goal chances like he did for Sturridge we will improve our goals chances. Apart from Torres first half, Ramires was again a beast in the team. Second part very sad for Ramires. We will miss him a lot. Now Romeu and Essien will have to show what they got. Great save by Cech. DL still made some childish mistake but overall doing much better. No Cahill, so I assume he might play next game? And last, Meireles in the midfield is becoming a bit of a ghost. This spot is the one to be taken over in the summer easily by whoever we get. Hopefully it will be Lucas.

You hit it right with Sao Paulo being more of a seller club then Santos. Oh Well I do hope Chelsea managed to get this kid. They should do that, buy him now and leave him on loan till the summer. Everytime I look at Higuian I think Torres. They can have one or two seasons of explosion, but overall they are like glass, very fragile. I would take Cavani over him any day.

I think Kakuta just need the right club to explode. And I think going back to France will help him a lot. Hope AVB leaves him there for 2 years! A similar player is Canales. It took Berbatov some time to get it going for United, and he would have continue if it wasn't for Hernandez that took his spot last season. After this season Torres at least deserves another season, and I will say without Drogba, Malouda and Kalou in the team. Giving space to some hungry passing wingers.

He did a wicked cross against Chelsea in the CL. Def. a good prospect to get for the price. Some people mention Kalou, and the problem with that is that if we had a stable manager, he would have spotted such a player to be sold. When you fire a manager and get a new one, then they each have to do their own evaluation, and by then you wasted another season. Hence I hope AVB stays for a long time!

I think he will be a descent signing. Besides Chelsea has not had great sucess in buying great named players, but those players that come from little to more.
