  1. Roman sacks Mourinho to appoint Avram, then fire him for a manager that can bring great style like Scolari, to fire him after a couple of months. After the little spell of Hiddink, hires Carlo as his best choice to lead us to glory to only sack him after his second season. And now appoints AVB as the next big thing because of what he did to Porto to now potentially sacking after a couple of months... Roman and the board are a clueless bunch of fools, that will continue to do dumb shit for ages to come!
  2. Andre Villas-Boas on borrowed time at Chelsea as Guus Hiddink looms on horizon http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/9080512/Andre-Villas-Boas-on-borrowed-time-at-Chelsea-as-Guus-Hiddink-looms-on-horizon.html
  3. Chelsea players confront André Villas-Boas in training-ground row http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/feb/13/chelsea-players-andre-villas-boas-row?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+theguardian%2Ffootball%2Frss+%28Football%29
  4. I remember in the summer when Ron said he did not know what cause the big slump during the second season of Carlo. So they fire Carlo and got a manager of their choosing because they want to build a project for long term. Now the same stuff happens again with a different manager. So the board and Roman got their answer. Has nothing to do with the coach but a horrible squad, with mercenary that don’t care much about the team. It's amazing how performance drop drastically when you cut their bonuses.....
  5. http://www.talksport...formance-season http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2100068/Andre-Villas-Boas-Champions-League-run-help-Chelseas-form.html#ixzz1mBmjQDHD
  6. Just like Wenger last couple of seaons? SAF this season in CL? He screw up big deal. He will learn just like these managers.
  7. He admitted his mistake, and that he will think about his decision making. Is a good step up. I remember that you said you wanted hear this like Mancini does. So he said it publicly that he screwed up and will see what needs to be done. Thus we can judge by next game who he plays to see if he really decided to change some stuff, or it's more of the same.
  8. "Maybe I will have some retrospective of what I did and think about the preparation. "I will reflect hard with my technical staff on my decision-making." -AVB If that thinking curtails of dropping Bosingwa then he has done one smarter move! And if he can add some more playing time to Ryan to change it up with A. Cole then that will be a great bonus.
  9. Yeah well we knew that was going to happen sometime when Roman sack him.
  10. Like I said it happens to big team. Has happen to Bayern, but because they are an establish club that players know they will continue challenging for tittle in coming season. Take a look at Juventus rise. They have been out, but they started spending and spending wisely on players. Now are contenders for the Serie and back to CL. So if Chelsea fails to get CL this season will it kill us? No, it will be bad in terms of money wise, but it might be a good shake up to think deep about what our board and Roman wants to do. Because spending so much money and firing manager every season has not work for the past half decade. A new approach must be attempt.
  11. And that's why Torres left. Because he can accept one season with no CL. Two or three seasons with little money spending is no good. If he saw Liverpool spending well and buying good players then he would have stayed. That won't be the case for Chelsea. Well it should not as they are already talking about next season project.
  12. Silva, Tevez, Toure and others. No CL for City but yet still believe in the "project" Hazard agent said if Chelsea is willing to build a project again he will be interested. One season of not being in CL will not hurt him. Next season he will be there with a good team and getting good wages.
  13. Chelsea is an establish team, and most player understand if a team fails one season to get in. Happen to Bayern and other team. It's a problem if it happens for more then one season!
  14. Yeah he should be giving time with that notion. At least till his contract is over. Cause if we do that, then some managers will see something change at the club that is no longer the merry go around, and might be interested in coming. Would love to have David Moyes if after 3 years AVB has not been that great.
  15. BTW not that it matters any more, but my choice to take over Chelsea would have been Moyes (if that was possible) over Mourinho and Hiddink. He is not a big time coach like Hiddink, or Mourinho, but he has shown to work great with little budget time after time. Imagine that coach at Chelsea with just 50 mill to spend? Surely does something more amazing then what Mourinho, AVB or any other manager can do with that amount of money!
  16. lol its funny you call it the "Drogab faction" or the "JT Group" But non of this is new. It was expected when AVB was appointed. It is what a lot of commentators said at the beginning, yet they got criticized by AVB and a lot of Chelsea fans....
  17. I even remember when Mourinho did not wanted Alex, but some other defender and yet the club got him anyways.....
  18. Can't put it any better. Sometimes I feel like the posters that post some of these opinions are little kids. Because how can you keep on with the same record, of firing managers after managers, when we been doing a lot of that since Roman came, and have not seen great long lasting result? Mancini is a very mediocre coach, but because he has a good squad it makes a bit less competent. 9 times out of 10 it will be the same thing with AVB. Once he has a great team, he will be hail as the next big thing, the best manager ever and all this stuff, but fail to see that it was mainly because he had a great squad....
  19. Interesting take. So the manager has no say on transfer cause the club does all the buying and he has to work with that??? Well I remember a certain Mr. Mourinho that could not motivate and bring the best out of a super star like Sheva..... Sorry but I don't buy that. Mourinho left Chelsea because of that exact reason. The club wants to buy their own player and don't let the coach do their own thing. Bringing all these managers won't change squat if the club continues with their policies!
  20. Well the squad trying to play like Lampard is a creative player, when he actually is more of a finisher. Lamp always benefited of great crosses and support from the side and behind. That has not been as of great in the last two seasons. We never really replace Deco, Ballack, Cole and others.
  21. He might be, but i was told the he favor Bielsa over AVB. So for that he gets prop from me. I like person that stick to their ideas and don't jump bandwagon...like people wanting AVB to replace Carlo and now wanting him out. AVB was never my first choice but I am willing to stick with him through the tough times and good one.
