Well men, Mata leaving was really not the fault of Mourinho. It was because we had Hazard, Oscar and Mata. Not all 3 can play at the same time as shown by RDM time. It was too much of a liability. When Benitez came he hardly ever start them 3 cause he knew it brought no balance. With Mourinho he preferred Oscar as Oscar brought more of a balance then Mata, despite Mata being more creative. Either way one had to stay on the bench, and so happend it was Mata and he didn't like it. Rightly so for a player like him, hence it was best for him to leave. KDB, might have a point as he was not really giving a chance and we went and bought Salah. I rather had kept KDB then buying Salah but it is what is.

Half right and half wrong. I feel like when we as a club have no big manager, then these type of players take the face of the club. But when you get a top manager like Mourinho, then Mourinho is the ambassador of the club. This would be vital for Mourinho if he wants to settle at a club for a long time, then just 3 years or so. He needs to help bring in younger players to offset the cost of buying expensive targets.

I think it's quite unfair comparing Shaw to Rio or Rooney. If anything at this moment, Shaw would fall under the Phil Jones and Jordan Henderson of this world. Has not shown enough to be in that bracket yet, IMHO.

England advancing far is about the same as Mexico making it to this world cup. Both teams are really shitty, and advancing far will just mask the fundamental problems. Had Mexico fail to qualify for the WC, the federation would have taken drastic step to try to fix the root of the problem. Now they most likely will pamper the crack. If England don't get out of the group stage, I expect the FA to take a bolder approach into implementing some strategy for England youth. With England advancing far, it will be the same as Mexico, most likely pamper the cracks.

If you can do good in Carling Cup or FA Cup it will be good, if not no big deal. CL the same, I don't have a obsession towards it as it was a couple of years ago to win it for the first time. Now I want to win the PL more then anything. Giving how we finish this season, I say not challenging for the tittle next season would be a disappointment. We already know what we are lacking, so do the right transfer this window and we have a big chance of taking that last step to PL glory. Cause City with FFP on their back, they will have to tread lightly. Liverpool, ain't worry much about them till they improve their defense. But then again, we always have those one season teams. Maybe it's the same for Liverpool? A great season this one, and maybe a mediocre season next. Arsenal, don't care. United is the wild card for next season and we will have to see how things go for them this summer. But bar any catalyst, I think Chelsea should be number 1 for the tittle next season.
