Well if they are going to be squad player then let them be of great use. But Mikel really hinders our team. A great squad player was meireles. Mikel does not offer anything great that a youth from the Academy cannot offer

I would rather we waste our time with Ake then Mikel. But that's the thing, is experience. Something our players don't get! How are they going to get experience, when our squad player goes to someone like Mikel? For that just give it to a young player.

José project is to win just like that of Chelsea. As far as for youth that has never been the project of any manager in the past. If mourinho wants to implement youth then we will see it in due time. For me it's simple you need good players to do good in the system you want to implement. Bullshit we had a big squad depth with Mata and kdb. We sold them and got two. Matic start but Salah ain't much. If Salah ain't ready then what's the point of having scurrle? If you don't want David Luiz at cb then move Ivan to cb and use cole, azpi for lb and rb.

Two things, Mourinho thinks this is important trophy but the players desire, lack of urgency says otherwise. As well it can be tiredness but that's the job of the manager to rotate the players. Second we miss Terry just as they miss aguero and fernandinho with us. So it even out. They where the best, and at this moment still the best team in the land. We have shown glimpses of our potential but we are not there to sustain it for a full season. Maybe next season we will be ready.

Further proof that this competition is not worth the importance for many players. Just look at the attitude of the players. Losing and just trotting around the field with no real urgency.

As said above, it can also be that some players could give two cents about this competition. FA Cup really has lost is luster when you have CL and PL, not to mention these other two competitions pay the bills!

It's all fine and dandy, but when Mourinho philosophy is of being a counter attacking team, then when a team that gives us the ball we have a hard time. You can criticize Ramires all you want, but its the philosophy that which we are setting up for that makes it hard when we are face in such a situation. This is why our defense must be really good, cause if we get a goal out of nowhere like we did with WBA we must be able to defend to the death.
