That article said this interesting thing: If and when PSG or any other club is hit with a sanction that will in any way affect its plans for the 2014-2015 season, said club will not only spend considerable resources challenging the decision via CAS, but it will also challenge the legality of FFP in the European courts and will claim hundreds of millions of sterling pounds in damages. UEFA is fully cognizant of this, and as such, will likely attempt to work with affected clubs on settlements. If this indeed becomes a reality then FFP will be what I thought all along. A means to get money out of the rich clubs into UEFA pockets. But we shall see if that is the case.

Liverpool's John W Henry admits Luis Suárez did have £40m clause – reports http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/mar/02/liverpool-john-henry-luis-suarez-clause

Well if they screw this up like Wenger and Arsenal it would have been a big psychological blow. It was important for them to win this, and thus making a comeback really great for them. City are really unstoppable when they are on a attack. Which makes me think that if Pellegrini was not so scared of Barcelona in the first leg, City would have done better. But now they got no chance and have to go for it at Nou Camp. Going to be an amazing game!

Well they deserved it. And it will be funny that after all this season, Arsenal finish 4.

The KDB fans, and now he's gone.
-
He's not world class but this is what squad depth is supposed to be. We lost some points in the past because mourinho made mistakes of not rotating his squad. Good thing he rectified that mistake. Only two players who are overworked. Rami and hazard who we really have no better options at the moment.
-
Much better then what Jose got in the past. But still uefa doesn't escape anybody, they hit anyone and everyone at their will.
-
Of course, Stamford Bridge is a funeral compare to the Türk Telekom Arena
-
It reminds me of when we where going for Hazard. 3 teams put in an offer and he chose us.
-
It seems like Chelsea does great business on defenders. Ricardo, Azpi, Cole, Ivan, and Cahill. We owned it when it comes to buying good defenders!
-
Very boring game for me. But still a good result. Let's hope we do the job, because if in the next leg it's 0-0 and we play for that, well with Drogba anything is possible. So we need to do our job and not play for a nil game.
-
The hiddink time something people have forgotten. It's a pity he never stayed. We would have produced awesome results in the following seasons with him. Hiddink then retired and mourinho took over. Would have been the perfect scenario. Should have, could have, would have.

Seriously? Then why Lukaku didn't play against us during this season? (Not the last game since he was injured but the first game) Then when Sturridge was at Bolton and we played Bolton. When you give someone on loan they can't play against you, it's the norm!
-
Because we let them, and Super Cup being a glorify friendly. There's no way we would let him play against us in the CL.
-
We could also get A. Madrid and they will be fuck cause courtois won't be able to play us.
-
Sorry I don't buy that this is to motivate them. You do that behinds door not in public. That being stated it was off the record so mourinho had to act the way he did and put it as a light joke....
-
Of course it's bad. The people here applauding mourinho for saying that are ridiculous. Even though it might be true and we the fans say it, the manager will never bash his players like that. He has never done it in the pass and will never do it. It was an of the record conversation and the media screw him.

Costa won't leave http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9184142/transfer-news-enrique-cerezo-says-diego-costa-wont-leave-atletico-madrid

I think he will be decent like Cahill. For the right price he would be a great buy.
-
He has contract till 2015... Something similar said mourinho about courtois. I reckon we will have the same problem if we don't guarantee courtois a spot in the starting 11 as Madrid will go the same way with big wages.

Check this out: Frank Lampard lifts the lid on Didier Drogba's emotions Lampard added: "You will see a return of a hero and rightly so with what he did with his last kick for us. It was the best two days of my life in football terms by a million miles. It was just incredible from start to finish and every fan you talk to is a 'where were you when you saw it' moment. "But it wasn't just that. There were finals galore, big games. In the dressing room behind the scenes he was a real leader and people didn't see that - one that we have certainly missed, he was so complete. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9182949/champions-league-frank-lampard-lifts-the-lid-on-didier-drogbas-emotions Sounds like the making of a great manager as well.

Not sure about cavani but Falcao yes. Mónaco is not a team for a player at his peak. More like to go collect a check and play in a nice place. So I would think Falcao want out. But last time we bought a player after a major injury... Well you can still see him in our team sucking ass. Not even mourinho was able to work his magic.

Fernando Torres part two.
