That's really pathetic how low Torres has fallen that when such a thing happen we don't even get mad. Really no one can say shit about some other time wasting money on someone else when Torres is the biggest waste ever! 50 million plus the wages he's on....
-
Yeah this is going to be problem going forward. With Mourinho when we play such a system we will always be awesome against the best cause they attack us. But horrible against team that give us the ball. A bit of conundrum there, but that's the fault of this system.

We can't win against Crystal Palace and you expect to win everything from here? Over!

What you expect? We are a counter attacking team. We perform better when team attack us. Which to say makes us better for cup competition not league tittle.

The moment when Torres gets that back pass from a Crystal Palace player and screws up.....

We have to win every game and that's already looking hard as it is.

I don't understand why people laugh at other's team expenditure in money when we spend 50 million for a striker....

Not just people but Mourinho himself as well: Jose Mourinho believes referee Chris Foy's performance in the defeat at Aston Villa could cost Chelsea the title. Premier League leaders Chelsea, who play Crystal Palace on Saturday, lost 1-0 at Villa Park in a match which saw Mourinho sent to the stands following the dismissals of Willian and Ramires. Mourinho maintains Manchester City are title favourites and Liverpool have a strong chance, while he refused to rule out Arsenal despite hammering the Gunners 6-0 last weekend. If the Blues are beaten by one or two points in the title race, Mourinho will look no further than this month's defeat at Aston Villa, which still leaves him seething at the performance of referee Foy.Asked if the Villa match could be pinpointed as costly come the end of the season, Mourinho said: "Yes, because the other matches we lost because we didn't play well, because the opponent was better than us, because we missed big chances."If you go to the other matches you find the natural reasons for losing a match, if you go to the Villa match it's difficult."What happened in the defeat against Villa I never learn, I never accept."Somebody was very successful in putting a hurdle in front of us. And we crashed the hurdle against Aston Villa and we lost."Villa was not a normal football match and we always hope that football matches are normal."Mourinho will face a personal Football Association disciplinary hearing at the end of next week to challenge his improper conduct charge issued following his dismissal at Villa."If you lose in the right way you have to move on and try not to lose again," said Mourinho, who faces a B£10,000 fine for his second sending-off of the season."The only thing I didn't learn is to lose with that kind of referee performance, because it's not a mistake, it's a performance."I learn to control my emotions and I learn to calm down in the moment like I did, but I don't learn how to accept that kind of performance."

Well they have the same problem as city a years back. Mark spending a shit load on worthless talent. Or like Kenny at Liverpool. A good management also makes some differences if you give him all the power.

United has more value then Liverpool. It took them a couple of season to get back so too United. But if they keep up with moyes it might take longer.

Azpi ain't world class like Cole, but he's a hard working player, and because of his hard work he won over Mourinho. KDB far from it.
-
Well all I said, if Lukaku is a strong character he will fight for his place like all these other players. If not, he will follow his country mate to some other team.
-
Sorry but Azpi was not figured into Mourinho at the beginning of the season and he fought for his place. Schurrle was a ghost for a half a season and has found his way back in his team by hard training and such. KDB could not cut it and ran way. Weak mental characters, nothing more.
-
Well the same can be said about KDB, a very nice guy but a weak mentally character. Not even like Azpi or Schurrle who fought for their places.
-
I feel the same, cause we have to go on an unbeatable run while still worrying about the CL, and have to hope that City drop points... That's asking too much. We lose it ourselves, and it's our fault.

Well leaving the club as one the most valuable clubs in the world is building for the future for me. Transition periods can always be ugly, look at what happen to us? And we had an owner willing to spend more....ie 50 million on Torres. Also having a piss poor manager does not help, but United are still a strong brand worldwide that racks in big figures. They should be up and running in two or three seasons. But if Moyes continues at the helm, it will seriously handicap them.

But Mou could not turn Torres into a monster..... It's all about the player attitude and mentality. Look how Azpi has turned? So you either have the mental fortitude or your a weak minded.
-
Well one of the fans said it correct, just like Brian clough who was amazing and then went into decline so too is Wenger. Sometimes managers are like players, they have a span where they are motivated and at their top for a certain amount of years and then they decline. What saf did is unreal and not many managers can do that. Once your over your peek the wisest thing is to resign before you drag the club any more lower.
-
Any Wenger post match comments?
-
If Everton get top 4 at the cost of Arsenal I'm having a big party at my house!
-
Well I knew with Torres we where never going nowhere. So the club and mourinho fucked that up, and because of that we are left with what we have. Also we where crying for a midfielder in the summer but we get him in January. Had we had him from the beginning things might have been different.
-
Well if we don't win shit this season, the fact that we beat Arse 6 to 0 and them not getting CL would be more then enough.
