Wow. I was thinking sooner or later RDM was a gonner but this was too soon even for me. The reason the club have done it is obvious though. Similar to the AVB situation they didn't want to let this bad run stretch on for months and ruin our season. Anway, we have to move on. Bring in Pep!

Its kind of depressing how much improvement our team still needs after spending such a hefty amount in the summer. I'm sure Roman would feel the same way. In order to be, without a shadow of a doubt, a top 5 team (in the world) again, we need to buy in order to strengthen each area. Altogether I'm talking about 3-5 players. These players should be bought over 2 windows. No more, no less. What we need: •2 Strikers •A World Class DM •A solid (preferably world class) CB •Perhaps another winger/attacking midfielder The overall theme here is that we already have the young and fresh blood base. Players who have the potential to be World Class. Now what we need is the spine. The players who are already the finished product and will give us experience, guts and danger. 2 Strikers: Its been said a thousand times. So to sum up, new strikforce needed, either 2 of Falcao, Cavani, Lewandowski or Jovetic. Torres out. If Sturridge doesn't want to stay, get him out as well and bring back Lukaku. New DM: Mikel is fine. However that's just it. He isn't better than Fine and I doubt he ever will be. He lacks Mobility and aggression. Sure he can still be a part of the club however he should more of a rotational player who will get his fair share of games. I think De Rossi would be absolutely the perfect candidate here. Busquets is a long shot. M'Vila is an option however not the finished product and I have my doubts over how good he really is. We don't need to get a Deep Lying playmaker as KDB (especially) and McEachran can easily be just that. New CB: Luiz is Luiz. His work is well documented. Cahill is good however I'm beginning to realise he won't develop into some classy defender. He is probably just a solid yet unspectacular 2nd choice CB. Here we need to go for Hummels or Subotic. Both would be available and attainable. Winger/Midfielder: Sell Malouda and bring in someone. Willian would be perfect. However Walcott could be available. Hell, even Nani could be. What we need is more depth in order to win the title.

I'm just so fed up. Why aren't basic problems being fixed? (Finishing, Closing down). I guess for that continued ignorance to these issues, RDM is only to blame. Big changes needed in January because we are in crisis and will probably lose against Citeh.

You guys love grossly overpaying for mediocre talent to fit in with your mediocre team. Sounds like the right deal for me.

Just use the Inter match as the Blueprint. Sitting back isn't the key but rather dyamic energy and pressing high is. 4-3-3 is the perfect formation here. A midfield of Oscar, Mikel and Ramires has the most energy and defensive abilities so that should be penciled in as our starting midfield for this game. One of Hazard and Mata should sit out this game and on current form and overall ability, influence and experience Mata should play. We need some level of defensive cover on the wing so Moses should start however I won't mind if Bertrand starts on the wing either. We don't need to play all 3 Maestro's because we don't need to outplay Juventus and beat them. We only need to get a draw. So why take risks. Just make sure the ship is patched up and shut tight to lock Juventus out. That is first and foremost the goal. We need to play a bit like Old Chelsea and be very strong defensively. There is no shame in that and it could be a great strength of ours. We need to be able to play 2 ways. However this time even with the defensive approach we have more creativity in the team which will help us be much more threatening up top, in the matches we choose to be cautious and defensive.

Jovetic and Falcao would be a truly great strikeforce. One can be a lethal finisher with both head and feet. Falcao would give us the strong presence and focal point we've been longing for. Jovetic would bring us more flexibility with his ability to link up and also float along any position in the front 4. Would support the signing of Jovetic. Perhaps not if he was our 'main man' but as a 2nd choice striker behind a heavyweight name like Falcao/Cavani/Lewandowksi. Jovetic will also cover for other positions.
