  1. It called Depth. Romeu would be the one pushed down the list but if he doesn't like that he can leave. Keep in mind we need enough midfielders should we happen to play 4-3-3/4-3-2-1 etc. Although I'm assuming Lampard would leave (which is best for everyone). We'd have De Rossi, Ramires, Mikel, Romeu and KDB which is what a top club should have.
  2. They can say that but I don't believe it. They're just trying to drive up the price. Very few if anyone would actually pay above £20 million for a 29 year old DM.
  3. No. We need a striker who finishes. We've tried this 'movement' bullshit with Torres. Just get someone who puts the ball in the net. End of story. If Huntelaar can do that, bring him regardless of if we get another Striker.
  4. Well that's complete nonsense. He's already about 28 anyway. I think he'd cost more around the £20 million (or just under) mark.
  5. I'm sorry but we need to rest players. Its time to use our squad rather than just the first 11. Cech Azpilicueta Luiz Cahill Bertrand Lampard Mikel Moses Hazard Marin Sturridge We look average up front. We really need to get a Striker or two.
  6. De Rossi would be great. He would add some real character and backbone to the team. Wouldn't be astronomically expensive either.
  7. Chances are he is going to go, so just deal with it.
  8. Schurrle is so overrated and overpriced. I would still want Willian as he probably won't be a starter (straight away) so that won't affect us in the CL too much unless we get some injuries. I don't expect us to go too far in the CL anyway this season.
  9. We need to be within 3-4 points of the league leaders in January to be a realistic chance at winning the title becase we will surely buy a striker (Also perhaps a CM) in January. However the more times passes the more I realise that we have only Torres right now (which will and already has cost us points), have a young team in transition and a defense that needs to learn how to defend better when playing this sort of football. So I can see a solid and comfortable top 3 finish for us, finishing either 3rd or 2nd. Of course we CAN win the title however I think next season is when we will be the favourites.
  10. Exactly this x100. SHOULD Marin want to leave, getting Willian will make our attacking options very strong.
  11. I've mentioned it in a couple of other threads: In January: David Villa or Huntelaar In the Summer: Falcao or Cavani.
  12. What I want: In January Out: Sturridge, Malouda In: Huntelaar/David Villa, Fernandinho or Paulinho In the Summer: Out: Torres, Lampard (sorry) In: Falcao/Cavani, KDB (back from loan). Give McEachran another year on loan and loan Courtois to an EPL side.
  13. Agbonlahor is not a Livershite player. Have I mentioned how much I hate anything Livershite related?
  14. When I look at United and City's strike force, they've got 3-4 very good strikers. We have none. Over this January window and in the summer, we need to shift on Sturridge and Torres (in whatever order necessary). Bring in 2 of Cavani, Falcao, Lewandowski, Huntelaar, Jovetic, Villa or Llorente. Yes 2 may seem very unrealistic at this point. However I do mean over 2 transfer windows. Huntelaar is almost out of contract. I simply do not care that he is not world class and is a bit of a risk. He will come extremely cheap/free and can't stop scoring. We simply must get him. It would be a smart buy. Then we can take our pick and get a big name Striker like Falcao or Cavani. We don't just need a new striker but a new strikeforce. The team still needs a hefty amount of improvement (New Strikeforce, CM, possibly a CB). Its up to Abramovich on whether he chooses to spend and if he does, exactly how much.
  15. Yep and like true Ghetto Trash he's already gotten 2 women pregnant.
  16. Since we have the striker we do, our midfield (The 3 Amigos) have been asked to do the scoring. Of course this is not their main job. They're not finishers and against Liverpool it caught up with us. We need a clinical striker. Fast.
  17. Oscar was pretty classy against Livershite. The best of the 3 Amigos.
  18. Overall 3 points lost due to poor finishing really. Oscar and especially Mata had great chances. Also the fact we didn't play at our best again, shows we are a bit tired. Rest some players against West Brom. Tough game or not, at this rate our key players will be completly burnt out by the final third of the season. Oh...And Falcao please...
  19. 1. Of course not. However even if he didn't choose to get injured it is still indirectly his own fault. He hasn't played due to his own body's problems. 3. Of course we will need to bring in someone. Our squad is already a bit thin. If Marin went we'd only have Moses.
  20. What quality? No, seriously, where is this quality? He is a mediocre player who has only made it to this level because of his pace.
  21. I bet Land regrets what he said now. It was such an idiotic statement. He must have some sort of soft spot for opposition teams' players.
  22. 1. If Marin hasn't played, it's his own fault 2. Yes, this is bullshit 3. However if he does go we would need to bring in someone.
  23. Is it true Howard Webb is refereeing this game? United just don't stop with their cheating do they?
