This type of result is so typical of the Chelsea team last year. We should have killed the game off. Can't help but feel with a great striker and focal point we would have had a couple more goals. However I won't blame Torres too much. A point at Swansea isn't the worst. Decent resut. In this game we seemed tired and perhaps saving energy for the Shakhtar match. RDM needs to use Marin and other squad players more and rest more of our first XI players more often.

Games like this show you our squad is thin in terms of quality outside the First XI. We need to get a Very Good CM and above all Falcao in January.

Marin needs to play at some point. Take off Hazard/Oscar reasonably early.

While true that Ivanovic and Cahill have barely played together, they are both very good defenders. Much better than Luiz as well IMO. Also, Azpiliceuta looked pretty decent against United so should be fine against Swansea.

Piazon is not ready for the EPL. As others have said it would be a nice surprise to see Mata rested and have Moses start.

Should start ahead of Luiz any day of the week. Is good for about 10 goals a season as well.

Getting tired of him really. Has shown no improvement. If anything he's regressed...Is not a long term option to play in midfield either.

Needs to go on loan. Has a long, long way before he is anywhere near starter material. I have my doubts as to how good he really is. Personally, I think we're overrating him and making him out to have a lot more potential than what he really has. On current skills and performance, I'd say he's a good 4-5 years off being Chelsea level.

Against weaker sides, maybe however I think we need energy, strength and a more defensive minded player like Rambo/Mikel in there. I see a lot of people here are praising Oscar's performance from a deeper position and even suggesting that should be his normal position...C'mon now, that spot should be reserved for KDB and/or Josh. Oscar is fine as a roaming no.10.

It might just be me but I thought Sturridge was a bit average. He wasn't much better, if at all, than Torres. Not much difference between them IMO. I'd be fine with Sturridge having a string of games to prove himself though. He offers maybe a bit more directness however he missed some good chances (Which is what Torres is criticized for).

This kid is just a beast/tank. Sooooo glad we got him.

Mata will play, he won't be rested. I don't think he's going to get burnt out yet. We'll give him the odd break unlike last year. Furthermore he hasn't shown any signs of tiredness so he should start. It will be a tough game. I wouldn't be too surprised if this ended in a draw. Although we have the team character to win on the road time and time again (Particularly in the League). I'll say 2-0. Hazard, Torres.
