^ Against weaker teams Maicon would play on the right.
-
It's obviously bullshit. They would much rather Theo Walcott for £45 million.
-
I somewhat agree with Sloth. There was no real need to merge the threads.
-
Doubt we could get him. I think he'll be playing for Milan in 2 years time.

Unfortunately -
Well that's good and all but he may get limited opportunites to play if we get a RW i.e Hulk
-
Same but I don't think he'd be content with being 4th/5th choice.
-
Yep, it would mean selling Yossi, Essien and Meireles. Lampard would be used less too.

Good Fucking Riddance! -
That makes no sense. Torres has at least played, whereas Llorente hasn't seen a single minute of gametime. So, wouldn't it mean Llorente was taken to make up the numbers?
-
I think he'll be the best player in the PL within 3 years.
-
Any more news? I really want this deal to happen It makes tons of sense. People who want Debuchy need to snap out of their delusions. He won't come here to be 2nd choice. I prefer Maicon over Debuchy anyway. Edit: Here is an analysis of Maicon and what he can bring to Chelsea. I agree with the article, Maicon could redsicover his old self and secure that RB spot leaving Ivanovic free for cover. http://mobile.weaintgotnohistory.com/2012/6/30/3128604/on-why-maicon-would-be-a-good-fit-for-chelsea

He's going to cost at least £32 million. -
The "blocking development" argument

^ What he said. Bertrand was lucky to be given opportunities and he took them. However it will not be the same for all our other youth players. -
Oh please god get rid of him. We'll pay them to take him!
-
Ahh forgot about that. Yes, in that case your lineup is fine. It's not like a Luiz and Cahill partnership is weak. It may be even better and JT MAY (doubt it) find it hard to get back in the team if he misses some matches. Also Romeu could play alongside Modric. Would like to see how that would work out.
-
1. Maicon is still quality and has experience 2. It's easily possible for him to come to Chelsea 3. He would be good at Chelsea, as a backup 4. You're an idiot.
-
I don't think Terry will be replaced this season.
-
More like if they get him you will be proven WRONG and shown for the bullshitter you are.
-
I thought you told me you were going to stop acting ignorant and arrogant? Maicon would be a very good signing. Quality player with alot of top level experience. For the reported £8 million that is a bargain and he is great cover for Ivanovic. Your acting like he is a rubbish player ala Bosingwa. This guy was considered one of the beat RB's in the world a few seasons ago. Getting Maicon as back-up is far more feasible than getting Debuchy as backup. Like I said before, with him and Ivanovic, we would have the best RB department in all of Europe. Also how would you know where Maicon is going? Do you have sources? We do. Sky Italia. Here you go again with your I know everything, I can see the future and read people's mind bullshit.
-
I'd say with those signings and Torres scoring on a somewhat consistent basis we'd be favourites for the title.
-
If we get Modric, Maicon and Hulk. I see alot of small team hammerings. We may break the 09-10 record
-
Exactly. He is worth every cent and can give us at least 5 good years.
-
I assume that Sky Italia is the exact equivalent of Sky Sports in the UK? In which case they are very reliable. £8 million is a Brilliant and smart piece of Business.
