  1. I hope you're right and AVB fails even harder than he failed here.
  2. Doubt that...maybe in 50 years.
  3. What a great character and misunderstood. He does some stupid stuff but so do most people his age. His talent however, is unquestionable.
  4. What a brilliant picture
  5. Drogba you fucking legend. People actually had the nerve to say Drogba and Torres have a fractured relationship
  6. Benayoun's heart and mind is no longer at Chelsea (if it ever was in the first place). Best for everyone if he pisses off.
  7. They are about to lose Modric, possibly Van De Vaart and already have lost Adebayor. They are in big trouble of becoming midtable again. I really want to keep Danny Boy. I hope he shines in the Olympics and shows Robbie he has alot of Talent as a CF. Edit: LOL The Twattenham Scum think they have a chance at buying our Sturridge. Dream on scum, dream on. Midtable it is for you this season.
  8. £12 million is a decent price but there are much better options. He screams out Squad player to me.
  9. We will never press to the extent that Barcelona does. However our pressing was appalling last season. Half-hearted and lazy. Hopefully with younger legs in the team now they will press and put some level of pressure on the opponent.
  10. I hope Robbie has some sense and tries Ramires in the middle.
  11. I don't particularly like AVB and wish he and Twattenham crash and fucking burn but to be fair I think he'll do a pretty good job there. They'll play good football and be moderately competitive for a 4th spot finish.
  12. Well Del Bosque plays midfielders instead of wingers/strikers so I think Mata would start ahead all of them by the 2014 WC.
  13. Yep, only a matter of time until Del Bosque realises Mata should be starting ahead of the likes of Silva and Navas etc. I like the name 'Assist Machine'. I think it'll be fitting for what he is likely to be next year. Perhaps the Mata----->Torres partnership will be the new Gerrard----->Torres.
  14. He's lost his blistering pace. Having said that he is still fairly quick. Not as silky smooth as the 'Liverpool Torres' where he seemed to glide across the turf but notheless agile. He still has his hunger and instinct for goal which I think can make up for his drop in pace. With better players feeding the ball in behind, it will play to his strengths. I can see him consistently getting bags of goals against weaker opponents but the question is can he step up and get us goals against the top teams? Time will tell. I have faith though.
  15. Yes but the point is with creativity and passes in behind (just like at Livershit) he can be deadly. Also he won the Golden Boot and only played about 60-80 (?) Minutes. So he can be a big goalscorer this season.
  16. It seems he could even become our starting right back. It would leave Ivanovic and Cahill/Luiz as CB cover and Ivanovic could always play RB when a more defensive option is needed.
  17. Difference is Torres is a 'has-been'. Kalou is a 'never was'. All of you bagging Torres will be silenced when he starts scoring in the upcoming season. As we saw he has gone from Strength to Strength since the 2nd half of the season. As we again saw in the Euros with the Golden Boot. With creativity and passes in behind Torres (Hazard, Mata, Marin, Possibly Modric) he can be the Torres of old again.
  18. Yes! Seems like this rumour is picking up steam. I thought it was another baseless rumour but looks like it is actually true
  19. Well I doubt we'll be using Josh. To be honest I think we're ruining him. He needs to go on loan and get playing time ASAP.
  20. They've been saying that the entire tournament...I think he's learnt how to contain himself in the big games and the big moments.
