Robin van Persie joins Manchester United

Haha KSIO is a fucking legend! -
Pretty good player. Admittedly a good signing by Twattenham. Not a game changer though. They need more than that to compete with us.
-
We can't worry about that. All we need to worry about is strengthening our own squad and winning silverware with that squad.
-
€38 million would be reasonable and better than £38 million. Hope we get him in soon. I'm tired of waiting.
-
Yes but no matter who they buy (it's not like you can get a lot of great players with £40 million) they wouldn't have as good a team as we would have with Modric and Hulk in the team.
-
For now. Overall we ARE much better and the Poms know that Anyway. Ollie seems to be bitter about it though...
-
I don't think it'll get that bad.
-
Fuck Azpilicueta and Debuchy. Maicon will do great here and no matter what the haters say he will be content with being 2nd choice, unlike Azpilicueta and Debuchy, who would probably start complaining and causing internal trouble.
-
Selling Sturridge would only be counter productive. We'd then not only have to buy a RW, RB, (possibly a CM), but also a striker. I hope we hang onto him. Even though he has only one year left on his contract, I think if he gets opportunities as a CF, he'll sign a new deal and stay with us. If by some chance Twattenham wants Sturridge and we're prepared to let him go (hopefully not) then we should definitely demand a Player + Cash deal for Modric otherwise they can fuck right off.
-
I don't think we could even sell Essien. Which team would want him? It would be great if we shipped out Meireles and Essien. It would free up the space for a CM but the more I think about it the more I think we are not going to get a CM. It seems RW and RB is our priority. That would still be a fantastic transfer window for any team. Lampard and Mikel should do just fine. We can always adress the CM problem in January or next summer.
-
That's because England sat deep and only really played on the counter. We will go out to attack and our 3 man supply line behind Torres will be constantly switching places, which will create space. We won't be as compact as England and we have better possession players than England.
-
Do you remember when ENGLAND was any good at Tennis? Murray doesn't count as he is Scottish and doesn't even like the English. Australia is better than England at Tennis.
-
Well said C'mon Nando!
-
Where would Mata play in a 4-3-3. As a CM? He's not as good deeper.
-
Well said, Onion Face. Drogba is one of a kind.
-
You shouldn't dislike Torres because of some racist idiot.

👕 Chelsea Kits Thread

Does Sony/Playstation sponsor Kits? They'd be by far the coolest kit sponsors -
Only 12? OK, you're on the list . I have a good feeling everything will click and he'll do well next season .
-
What would you consider a good season for Torres? I'd say a minimum of 15 league goals will be ideal. Any more than that is great. Similarly any goals he scores in the cups will be a bonus but I think he will be judged in the league. 15 goals is a good contribution and considering his previous year, I'd say it's a good total. It also means we're not over reliant on him and become a one man team like Robin Va--I mean Arsenal.
-
Yes but likewise I'm sure our players will have one eye on this game and be really up for it to stick it up AVB. It'll be a massive encounter.
-
Yes, you may. It would be hypocritical of me otherwise.
-
Nicely said Lamps, let's smash that cunt and his team of clowns.
-
Your Torres hating is getting annoying. You're going on my 'Torres haters' list. I can't wait untill he comes good so I can shame you.

The Agent_ITK tweeter is actually pretty accurate. If Modric is truly gone to Madrid we need to go in for Sahin or Moutinho.
