It is the media who hype these gutless stories up and make them a reality. We need another striker to challenge in all competition's and it is as simple as that.

Funny you say that because that's exactly what Oscar hopes to achieve. http://www.sambafoot.com/en/news/33934_chelsea_signing_oscar___i_hope_to_get_used_to_scoring_here_.html?

Duppy does post with real quality and so does Ollie so my decision is split between the two.

I really don't think the players we have are overrated. Hazard, Mata, Marin, Torres, Oscar, Ramirez, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Ivan, Luiz, Cech. How can anyone call that overrated, it's the manager who will be tested this season because it will be his job to get them playing well together and so far it doesn't look like he is doing a very good job. Mind you it has only been 4 games so I'm not fussed as of yet. We all know how fast thing's can turn around from bad to good, just look at our previous season.

Why do you care to keep criticizing your fellow Chelsea brothers? We are together in this! We all love football and yeah we might not agree with certain areas of football but there is no need to keep singling Hutcho out because you don't agree with everything he says. When i stand in the terraces of Stamford Bridge I may not agree with what everyone is shouting and saying but I'm there with them supporting the club i love because we are Chelsea and maybe now I might be a little drunk and talking crap! Love and Peace bruvva... It's Love and Peace!!!!

You don't just give a player Drogba's old jersey at sit him on the bench ! I think Oscar will feature as one of our main players this season. He has been outstanding for Brazil and he is definitely their permanent number 10. I think i'm actually a little more excited about Oscar play than i am Eden. Can't fooking wait for the new season!

Is there anywhere i can catch the highlights of the game between Egypt and Brazil? Just saw the post above... DOH!

I think and hope it's simply being set up to play good football, football that wins matches. Weather RDM is the man to pull it off only time will tell!

The last bit about the coaching staff was worth posting the rest is just typical 'spoiled brat' nonsense. We have played three pre-season games and already someone is posting this kind of bullshit. Impatient plastic fans are the worse kind of fans, one minute they love a player the very next game he's the shittest player Chelsea has ever had. Wow just wow. Embarrassing!

Not one of those players gave 100%. So you hate the whole team lmao.. Just go support another team considering you hate this one soo much!

Would it be wrong to say that the 'Torres was playing badly because of Drogba being the main man at the club' was actually just a story the media invented and wouldn't lay to rest? It could be a possibility that Fernando was just playing badly and it had nothing to do with there being two main strikers at the club but in fact just a prolonged blip in his career that started before he joined us. I know Drogba being the man we could rely on meant that he had more playing time than Fernando Torres when it was crunch time but let's face facts he was given the opportunites. I think he started to believe the scathing stories a notorious British media had shackled him with thus resulting in a wounded out of form 50 million pound striker but bringing Cavani here wouldn't necessarily mean Nando's revived confidence will be effected by the same kinda bullshit. I would like for Torres to shine now more than ever and be our number one striker but with the amount of games we will have to play this season coming we simply cannot just count on one World Class striker to bag the goals in all competitions. Every top club has at least two garunteed goalscorers in their squad and as much as we want Danny to succeed, are we really convinced he is the man we can rely on if Torres gets injured or banned? I say buy Cavani now but given the signings of Oscar, Eden and Marin I am more than happy with what the board has brought us this summer, if anything i feel like we have been spoiled and anything else is a Brucey Bonus!

Oscar is definitely starter material. It may take him time to adapt to our system but I really don't think it will, he starts for Brazil who have immense talent in abundance for most positions available. He may be young but plays with the head of a cultured professional , equipped to fit into a side that was 'lacking playmakers' quite nicely.

You feel KDB needs a 2 season long loan? I really don't think it will benefit him as much as it would if he was to stay here, he is capable of growing into our first team and playing at the standard required. Given rotation and squad depth is going to be needed for the long season ahead I think we should hold onto him. I agree that Malouda and Benna need to go because they just aren't good enough now we have signed Oscar, Hazard and Marin. If those two are sold then we should keep KDB incase of injuries and fatigue, either way it is going to be such an exciting season and I reckon we will be fighting for 1st place again now! Welcome Oscar I wish you a great start to your career with the Champions Of Europe. :blue scalf:

Kagawa hardly a CM ? Well it looks like he is capable of playing CM with Scholes, just look how he commands the center of midfield here even though i think he is playing in an advanced role! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2iWXqO3UYk

I think signing Oscar will be a massive purchase for us and could really be the difference in controlling games rather than being on the back foot and just counter attacking. I watched the United pre-season game against Ajax and Kagawa was very neat and precise with his passing and link up play with Scholes to the forwards. He controlled the game and looked like he had been playing with United for years, I think Oscar is as good if not potentially better than Kagawa. I'm not sure if he is at the same level as Shinji as of yet but nevertheless Oscar is a fantastic midfielder who we all know can play deep and controll games. The thought of having Oscar alongside Lampard, Mikel or Essien (Not Romeu because i think pairing them both would lack experience) is just mouth watering and to have Hazard, Mata, Marin, Sturridge, Torres, Ramires in front of them just sounds ridiculous. Dream Team stuff. This season is going to be one of the best in Premier League History in terms of spectator value, I am literally counting down the days wishing for this season to start. I just hope we have Oscar and hopefully a right back has been wrapped up in time for when we travel to Villa Park so i can see them spank City in the community shield!

Their CM problem? I don't see one now they have Kagawa along with Carrick, Scholes, Cleverly, Anderson and Fletcher if he gets fit again, Giggs can play CM also. The way Fergie sets up his team the players don't have to necessarily be individually outstanding but rather function in their role effectively and collectively resulting in wins. You can have all the good players in your team but if they don't work well together then you are going to win nada. Those players mentioned are pretty decent anyways and I'm sure Fergie will form a solid center midfield this season so buying Lucas will only strengthen Man U's options in attack which I for one don't like!

Win the argument?? Your such a child and pretty embarrassing posting shit like that. All i ever see you post is childish negativity about every player who does something wrong on the pitch. Just another spoiled kid who throws his dummy out the pram when someone has a bad period for us.

I read the first line of this reply and i stopped. When did I base my 'knowledge' of Essien on the game with PSG???? What the ...! I'm basing my knowledge on Essien since becoming a Chelsea player and from that i think he is still worth holding on to. I didn't say he had the best game ever at all.. Check all my previous posts and you will not find anything of the kind having been said. So now your making crap up to try and belittle me which isn't very constructive is it! All I'm saying is I think it would be a mistake to sell him seeing as he can run just as much as Frank, is a better ball winner than Mikel and has more experience than Romeu. Just my opinion!
-
Oh yea it's definitely realistic and the only reason they do this. Pro angle is just shocking in my opinion, I only use tele. Do you play clubs?
