In the words of John McEnroe, "you cannot be serious"? It was the amount of times Daniel Sturridge performed his little side netting cameo which was what people got soo angry about. Hazard doesn't always do it, he actually most of the time looks to pass and assist the player in the better position. Christ are we going to say that everytime Ba misses a shot, "If that was Torres then y'all be going crazy".

Looking back over your post I have to put my hands up and admit that I did read it wrongly. I thought that you was implying that I was a OPTA wanker lol. My bad.
-
I wasn't attacking you personally at all but it is more than obvious you have taken offense to my post. I applaud you for training kids and getting your coaching badges. It is actually something I would like to do later on in life. To call me a wanker because I remarked that people use statistics as the one and only way to compare players contribution to the game, is just pathetic. In fact all you ever do is talk numbers when explaining football and whenever somebody includes the spirit and heart of a players contribution you feel as if the poster is attacking your point of view. Grow up SeB.
-
Some people are completley wrapped up in their obsession for statistical comparison. I swear that they forget that the game is played by humans and not numbers. The only numbers I would bother comparing ate goals scored.
-
I prefer facts over stats. The FACT is if stats were key to winning games both player and game stats. Then we would have never won the Champions League last year. This is why I don't take much notice of the pass percentage and tackle percentages of each individual because it only takes one good assist and one good finish to score a winning goal.

So far from what I have witnessed De Bruyne's passing range and selection is better than Hazards. I do love Eden but KDB has a special passing game in my humble opinion.

I can't wait to visit Canada. Thinking of setting a date for next year. I don't know why it is but I just really want to go, looks one hell of a country. Any advice on where the best place to stay would be and where not to go?

If I ever witness such a day, I shall shelter you from reality.

Made up for his awful performance against Southampton. This is what i truly love about Rami, he isn't technically as gifted as other players in our squad who we have paid a substantial amount of monies for. In spite of that lacking in ability his sheer desire to win and take games by the scruff of the neck is priceless. Excellent game today and fully deserved MOTM as did A.Cole but Rami just pipped it.

I can tell you are one of those 'fishing for an argument' types. I love football and I love Chelsea and yes I will say what the fuck I want, whenever I want. Unless Alex or BluesMaster tells me off!

I haven't boo'd Rafa once since his arrival. I won't boo him until the day he leaves either. Just get one thing straight you jumped up little shit, i fucking stand by Chelsea and whoever is associated with this club through thick and think despite how shit or stupid they might make us look. If that doesn't give me the right to express my opinions then it's people like you who very much mistaken.

I tell you why 90% of this forum is still not happy about Rafa despite the win is beacause if we had started with Ba we would have probably been 4-0 by half time given the chances and positions we got into attacking wise. No, Rafa decides to start with his golden boy and instead we go in 2-0 up at half time. Then Walcott scores after Torres just flops over like a puppet clown and he still didn't bring our stronger and more in form striker. This nearly cost us another 2-0 lead at home when the change was soo apparent to over a few million Chelsea fans. That's why people are pissed off with a wanker who once called us wooden fans with no passion a man who is meant to be a world class manager. It is as simple and obvious as that.

I celebrated Cahill's game winning tackle as if I had been having highly intoxicated sex for 95 minutes and I had finally jizzed and now I can go to sleep.
-
THIS IS A FUCKING DISGRACE. Why is Ba not even warming up??? What the fuck is going on??? I can't mentally cope with what my eyes are seeing here! Absolute Joke!
-
I've just woken up to see Torres starting??? WTF is this shit. Absolutely unscceptable you fat Spanish cunt!

This game could be called of due to snow. Fingers crossed it doesn't.

Just goes to show what playing every week can do to improve your game. When watching him in a few substitute appearences and in pre-season, Lukaku looked slow, sluggish and had an awful first touch. Now he looks like a completely different player.
-
I was really against that move. I literally couldn't believe it when I saw that we had let him go to Madrid. A lot of people were moaning that he isn't good enough to play here anymore and yes he isn't as good as he once but still a very decent player who knows the DM role like the back of his hand. Letting him go there and not bringing in a proven DM in his place has shown to be a big mistake.
-
Just because you can't grow one yet! People are usual jealous of what they can't have themselves!
-
Exactly. Maybe because he actually understands the defensive midfield role better than Rami and Lampard. Mikel doesn't stray to far from the holding position and keeps it simple. How many times did we see Rami lose the ball from dribbling too much against Southampton, it became a running joke. As I said in another thread, Lampard is an attacking central mid not a defensive mid. Never thought I would find myself saying this but Mikel needs to hurry on home.
-
I must admit, I'm one of the first people to criticise Mikel but it was obvious last night how much we were missing him from the midfield. That's not to say I think he is as good as a lot of people on here make out.

Law school ... Med school ... Fuck that I keep it Old Skool ...

Chelsea need sombody like Lampard? We already have Lampard and he is far from a natural deep lying playmaker. He has an instinct to score goals which means leaving his post and going forward leaving a great big hole in front of our back four. What we need is a player who is tenacious andd hungry to tackle and intercept. Somebody who simply loves to sit in front of the back four, screening them from attacks. Somebody who not only is natural ball winner but also a great contributor of the ball. Yes Lampard has top notch vision and class delivery but he is not a deep lying playmaker by any means. At the moment we have Rami who can't pass to save his life, Mikel who has the ability but just wonders around playing his consistantly average game and Lampard who is playing out his last days at Chelsea anyways. You could mention Luiz but I don't think even he knows what position he is meant to be playing these days, he kind of plays Monkey rush CB.

At last somebody talks a little sense. Yes Rafa as Fulham Broadway has put it, is 'A Spanish cone of fat'. By no means did he get his substitutions neither tactics right last night against Southampton and by no means does he belong here in any way whatsoever. But Let's look at our situation in realistic terms here. We can't and I mean can't sack another manager before the season is up. We are a laughing stock of the footballing world as it stands. To sack a second manager in the same season would just be an absolute disaster for this club. I mean it isn't like we aren't already going through a multi car pile up on the road to mayhem. We need to see this out despite the undeniable fact that Rafa isn't and never will be the right man for the job. Let's at least be honest with ourselves here. After sacking the man who spent the most important years of his professional playing career here and then came home to win us the holy grail, getting a manager of Rafa's credibility in such short notice was suitable. He has steadied what was a horrificly unorganized defence and to start with got a shattered Torres scoring goals. I know the one home win from seven is a disgraceful reality that most of you are finding impossible to accept. I understand that being such a passionate Chelsea fan mysef and I know that we all deep in our heart of hearts feel that we as the Champions of Europe should have stormed the Premiership and all other competitive trophies this season with the new additions to our squad. It just hasn't worked out that way. In my honest opinion I feel that Eden Hazard hasn't quite lived up to the hype tjat surrounded his big money move as of yet and Oscar is still young and quite obviously tired from such a long calender year previous to his move here and we are relying heavily on Mata and now one striker in Ba.Now once again with our backs to the wall we as fans and lovers of our club and the game of football need to stand behind the squad and still believe that this season won't end in complete disaster. Funny enough, we normally play our best when we have our backs to the wall but we must forget about calling for the head of Rafa until the season is finished. P.s. Remind me to never post an essay on my phone again. What a fucking nightmare!
