Not a fan of Khedira from what I have seen of him. It's his passing range that bothers me. I'm all for us biying a strong presence in mid but if we do then we will have to buy another player in the guise of a creator. Fuck it, we are rich let's just buy everyone!

I think and feel the same way as you both about the contribution of Nando's goals. For the sheer favt that a 50 million pound striker should be scoring in big games with big goals and the Arsenal game is one of the only games I can remember him doing it. The open goal miss against United still sticks out a mile in my memoirs of Nando's time here lol. Though they have been of little importance let's at least give him some credit for scoring them and actually helping us get to the Europa final. They might not have all been winners but they can be considered as cousion goals thay let you take your foot of the gas and make substitutions to rest key players in such a busy schedule. Call me an optimist and generous for giving him such credit but I think his 20 or so goals at least deserve as such.

I agree. As much as I would love for him to come here I just can't see him coming. The pricetag around his neck and wage demabds are just ridiculous. He may be happy at Napoli but I can see him leaving this summer and I have a gut feeling that Man City is the most likely destination which if instinct serves me right I will be beyond gutted. I would rather him join Madrid for obvious reasons. Like you said I believe Lewa is the most realistic option for us but if somehow Roman and his crew pulled of the signing of Ed It would put us back amongst the big boys as real contenders instead of sluggin with a fighters chance!

That is exactly how I feel and have felt towards the true replacement of Drogba. Cavani has been the ideal replacement from day of Didier's departure. He is just soo classy and his name is one of those names that when you see it on the oppisition's team sheet, you simply shit your knickers!

As much as you make this deal sound realistic and advantageous to our cause, I'd rather buy Cavani. Only because Cavani for me is the best striker in the world. Lewandowski would fit our system and is the ideal candidate but Cavani is just special.

I agree with TOPTB but hasn't most of our switched in fans been saying this about Lewandowski for a while now. It's been obvious for a season or few that Dortmund is like a finished us! Though if we get it right I do believe we can be better than what they were this year!

Yea but when it comes to this years Champions League campaign, United were wrongly done by some ridiculous refereeing that in all truth lost em that tie. They were the better team. City have an immense squad of players but just flopped this season mainly because they are not use to being a decent club who gets CL football. Us well yea were considerably poorer and look a lot weaker thab the German and Spanish teams but we all know why we fragile in the CL this year. I honestly don't think we are that far behind the Germans and Spanish at all. Yea Byern are on a different level to everyone at the moment juat like Barca have been for the past 6 years or more. With the additions we need I can see us going beyond the current level of the Spanish, Italians and play similar to the way Dortmund have this year. United is already up there with the Germans and Spanish because of the depth of their squad and City just need more nerve and experience. The gulf between the leagues isn't as drastic as people make out.

It's easy to score goals in La Liga, anyone can do it. He doesn't cut it for Real when it comes to firing them through to the Champs League final like Lewa did for Dortmund. He had chances to put Madrid up and in such an important game he didn't cut it. Trust me, if Real continue with Higuain as their main striker they won't win Champs League until they get rid of him and stop relying on Ronaldo.
