People are worried that if we drag this too long Hazard will start thinking about his decision and might change it. Confirmation is all we want, not a press conference or even an interview with him, just those four words on the Chelsea FC website "Hazard signs for Chelsea".
-
Nah, not at all. He was released for a good reason.
-
Just out of curiosity, by offensive language do you mean the act of using disrespective words towards someone, or just the loose use of offensive words.
-
What, Fellaini and Tiote are world class then? Romeu has amazing potential, and Mikel has been playing outstanding recently. There is absolutely no need for getting another DM. Meireles isn't battling for a spot, he is nowhere near good enough to be a starter. Why don't people realize that Luiz can't play in the midfield? It has been experimented and failed.

I never claimed it was all about work-rate. Hence the sentence in my post straight after I mentioned work rate. I'm not even disagreeing with you, just pointing out hints to why people get more annoyed by Sturridge than Torres. Everyone acknowledges Sturridge's ability, it's just his seemingly poor attitude that gets on people's nerves. While Sturridge was productive over a short period of time, he could have been ten times more productive if he had thunk about anyone other than himself at times and tried to pass the fucking ball. And yes, while selfishness (limited) can be a good trait for a striker, Sturridge was playing as a RW.
-
Actually there was A LOT of criticism on here against Torres after that interview, can't bother to find it though. I think the fans also get tired of Sturridge's attitude on pitch, he's way too selfish and while Torres is sulking, at least his work rate is extremely good. No, that is not an excuse or good enough for us - but fans realize that he is trying for the team, unlike Sturridge who plays for no one but Sturridge (seemingly).

You are incorrect. The transfer window formally opens on July 1st, but regardless, English teams are allowed to sign players after their last competitive match.
-
Think the deep lying playmaker role is perfect for him. I drool over the idea of him and Romeu together behind Mata and Hazard after three or four years, with Lukaku up top. Of course the likelihood of that happening is close to nothing, but one can dream. His passing and vision is just incredible.
-
Don't worry mate, they can be officially signed with press conferences and all even though the window hasn't opened. They just can't play for us (or train, I think). And since obviously we have no games, and the players are either on holiday or with their national teams, that of course isn't a problem.

---------------- Torres ------------ Hazard ------- Mata ------ Hulk ------- Modric ---- Mikel--------- Cole - Terry - Luiz - Ivanovic -------------- Cech ------------- Oh my fucking god. That looks sexy. You're probably getting tired of members posting these teams, but I just couldn't resist. It's beautiful.
-
Perhaps. You can never know for sure. Although Bertrand can hardly be called an youngster anymore, he's only one year younger than our best player, Mata.

Pretty interesting. 2008/09: Busquets, Thiago, Xavi Torres, Muniesa, BotÃa, Abraham. 2009/10: Fontà s, Dos Santos, Soriano, Gai Assulin, Bartra. 2010/11: Oriol Romeu, Sergi Gómez, Miño, Nolito, Montoya, Sergi Roberto. 2011/12: Cuenca, Deulofeu, Rafinha, Tello, Riverola. All the players he introduced to the first team in his reign. Of course Barcelona have an amazing academy, but still the confidence needed to introduce all these players has to be sky high. He knew all the youngsters before he took over though, since he was the reserve manager before being appointed manager. I would welcome him here, would be really interesting to see our team under Guardiola next season. And come on people, you do not seriously think he doesn't know that the so called "tiki taka" won't work in the premier league with our crop of players. If all of us can spot it - he sure as hell can. If he can find the proper balance between attack and defense I truly believe there are no limits to what we could achieve. With that being said, I would not at all be disappointed if Di Matteo got the job, he sure as hell deserves it.
-
It's spelled "Oficial" in Portuguese. Not that I'm suggesting that that's his official twitter account, though.
-
While that is true - it is not that uncommon that the selling club gives the buying club permission to hold talks with the player before an offer has been accepted, for instance, while the two clubs are in talks, the buying club might be willing to spend more if they have reached an agreement with the player himself. I'm not saying that it is like that in this case, since these are just rumors. But it is possible that we have reached an agreement with Hulk but not Porto without breaking any rules, in fact it's rather likely, since Porto can benefit from that situation. EDIT: Just saw those five little words in your post - "They need permission from Porto". So obviously you knew, sorry.

Getting a bit spoiled? Club WC and the Super cup, + one of FA/Title is a must for me, personally. The title has to be the priority.
-
40m euros (32m pounds) looks like the price, but we don't know for sure. Di Matteo and Pep Guardiola are the most likely candidates at this moment, and perhaps Fabio Capello. It's not unlikely that De Bruyne would be loaned next season, and a loan to Lille would certainly be a possibility. I think the fact that you sold Eden to us does give you the lead, but what do I know.
-
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES.
-
Bertrand. And if that doesn't cut it, surely we can find someone with far superior work ethic than Kalou on lower wages, and one that doesn't make every Chelsea fan, bar you, want to rape Kalou every time we see him on the pitch.
-
Erm, no. We need to get wingers. Priority no. 1. I can live with Lampard and Mikel playing next season in the midfield, but I sure as hell cannot live another season with Kalou on our first team sheet.
-
How do you know he would be used as a typical winger here? I have no doubt he would play in the same exact style here as he would at City, roaming around the area as an advanced playmaker. Now, I'm not saying I'm too optimistic and I do feel like he's going to choose one of the Manc clubs, I just don't agree with you on these points.
-
Man City play with a trequartista comparable to United's, Aguero. And Silva is kind of their number 10 player.
-
Source?
-
Hazard.
-
What? How would Hazard coming here have anything to do with Lukaku's status at the club? I think he should be allowed to go on loan if we get a new striker or if Drogba gets a new contract, but it has nothing to do with Hazard.
