  1. I'm sorry, what makes me think what? Not trying to be impolite I just don't understand what you are saying. If you are referring to that I think he will play 4-2-3-1 then yes, Essien or Mikel could play, I never denied that?
  2. You're kidding, right? This would be the worst time to try Luiz as DM. For gods sakes he is a CB and a damn good one. I also doubt that RDM will stray away from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3.
  3. Would be a great addition, was simply amazing tonight. Would be a kind of a Mata-ish signing, not widely known but has immense talent. Really hope someone from Chelsea is watching him.
  4. I thought we would make huge changes two years ago. I thought we would make even bigger changes last summer. I was certain it would happen with AVB this summer, but now I'm not so sure. But let's hope the board will come to it's sense.
  5. We've dug our own grave. What manager wants to come to us now, seriously. Rodgers was absolutely right. I'm hoping for Mourinho, but expecting someone like Benítez.
  6. That is true, Tottenham need a striker, although I doubt Harry will leave. However I no longer have hope of us getting him, can't see why he would want to come here unless we make huge necessary changes in the summer. And why is Arsenal getting Podolski for only 10 mil and no other club seems to be competing for him.. I wouldn't say no to him. Especially for 10 mil.
  7. You're absolutely right. It's all AVB. The players are fantastic, they have the perfect combination of attitude and talent.
  8. You think? Of course it's too expensive, every man with a brain cell can see that. I would love Hulk here, but I think 40 million pounds is also way too much for him. 30 mil would be fine, 35 tops.
  9. In an ideal world he would be in his natural position, left winger, moving Mata in behind the striker. One can only dream.
  10. Have to say, watching the City - Porto clash Moutinho is really impressing me. AVB in the stands, hopefully he's at least wondering about signing him. Would give our team a lot of boost.
  11. Does anyone have André's postmatch interview?
  12. The comparision between them is very understandable. They have (Robinho had) similar abilities, pace, dribbles and technique. Robinho was also overhyped when he was young. And maybe this is just me, but I don't trust a man's judgement on a player he can't write the name of (Azpilicueta is an exception!). Götze has immense potential and I have no doubt that he will be world class, I don't see Neymar reaching that level. Hazard not good enough for our squad? Have you seen Hazard play, and have you seen our team play? Hazard would improve our team by miles, bar Mata he has more technical ability than our squad combined. I agree with you on Eriksen though, great player.
  13. They are two different players, not that comparable. And I disagree, we don't need a target man.
  14. For £22m he would be a steal. A great player.
  15. How do you know we didn't try? And why on earth would they agree to that, this isn't De Bruyne, his value will go even further up in the summer and more teams will be fighting over him. Why would they have want to sell him in january? It seems like people are blaming Chelsea/AVB for not getting him in january. We didn't have a chance of getting him! Get it in your heads.
  16. I doubt that they would even consider a £25m bid + Malouda bid for him. And he did make contact but Hazard didn't want to leave. I thought people would got that by now, it was out of the club's and AVB's control. I'm sure that if we had a realistic chance of getting him in january, we would have tried.
  17. Good points. Also, even if we don't look at how few managers are even available right now, I have to ask, what the fuck do you think bringing in a new manager would accomplish at this stage? The board keep making the same stupid fucking mistakes, firing managers in every season. Most of the fans are furious over it and really want the board to change it's ways. But then, when it comes to bad results, many of the same people are asking why the board hasn't sacked this "clown"/"redbeard"/"idiot" or whatever the fuck you want to call our clubs MANAGER. AVB is not stupid. He's in fact a very smart man, yet almost everyone on here questions every single thing he does, acting like you know the team much better than him. I want to see the youngsters play, I really do. But how the fuck can all of you think that Hutchinson (who hasn't played a game in god knows how long) is better fit for the RB position than Bosingwa? How the fuck do you know that Piazon could even make a single pass in the physical premier league when he didn't even play a first team game at Sao Paulo? How can you demand that AVB changes his tactics to 4-2-3-1, and then be furious over the fact that he plays the only winger in the squad, Malouda, on the left wing? How can you demand that he buys a player in January when you have no idea if there is even an adequate player on the market? He tried to sign the likes of Lucas Moura, but the money was too high. Then you demand that he buys him anyways, and on the next forum I read you are talking about the fact that you hate how Chelsea overpays for players. How can you know that Alex and Anelka didn't demand a transfer request? How can you know that AVB's decision to loan out Benayoun wasn't made because the board assured him that they would get Modric? How the fuck can you act like AVB's has no clue in what he's doing? Of course, this isn't pointed out to every single one of the members of this forum (of course not), rather a variety of posts I've seen over the recent months in this forum. I'm just sick at reading stupid posts about AVB's management. Get behind our fucking manager.
  18. 1. No, but it is a good reason to understand that maybe he makes inexperienced mistakes, and we should support him since because of his young age, he should be more willing to change his ways than older, more experienced managers. 3. Meireles is a squad player, and it's unfair to call him a stupid signing, for 13m he's a pretty good player on form. Mata plays on the left wing because we have NO ONE else to play there, the only time AVB plays Mata behind the striker is when Malouda is on the left wing, and when that happens you all cry over the fact that Malouda is on the pitch! And Romeu was a good signing. 4. Yes, it's a club revolution, but he was brought here for the revolution, hence, he's the heart of it.
  19. Too harsh. Criticizm is fine, but some of your points are not even close to being true. I agree with Lamps, he needs to be benched. Meireles is a decent player, he's not completely useless - he's in bad form. Learn the difference. Despite recent mistakes, Cech is still a good GK, in fact, he's a great GK. David Luiz has probably been our best player recently, he's been showing massive signs of improvement and is becoming a great CB. You have no idea if Sturridge would function as our centre forward, I doubt he could do a decent job there with this team.
  20. No, I don't think we would get those penalty decisions at Old Trafford. And that bothers me. But it doesn't change the fact that it's understandable to give it. I really can't see how you can just state that it wasn't a penalty. Ivanovic was backing from the challing, but, unfortunately he caught Welbeck. Both were very soft, but it's not like those decisions that went against us vs Barcelona a few years ago, it's not like Ivanovic or Sturridge didn't touch Evra and Welbeck. Malouda had a really bad game, and he isn't good enough for Chelsea. I won't argue with that. But come on, arguing that maybe he should've put Bertrand on the left wing for the first time against United? He's okay going forward but do you have any idea if he is even capable of playing on the left wing? Why not just put Ivanovic there, I mean, he's okay at going forward. And I don't really see any other option than to have Malouda on the left wing under these circumstances. At least not if you want to have Mata in the middle. Like I said in my earlier post, Sturridge was having a bad game. I don't think anyone can deny that. And he doesn't track back enough, and isn't good enough in defending. Malouda, despite all his flaws, does track back. And come on, how do we know Sturridge's pace would mean Evra would get another yellow card.. to not subsitute Sturridge solely on that would have been ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I'm not sure it was the right subsitution, but under the circumstances I definately understand it.
