  1. Rooney isn't a pure striker - everyone will agree with that. That doesn't mean he's comparable to Hazard who has a complete different set of skills and playing style, Mata and Hazard are also very different players, even though they both prefer the attacking midfield position. Rooney would definitely improve our team, despite the fact that we have Mata and Hazard who want the free role. Not that I think there is even a slight possibility he'd ever join.
  2. First option really doesn't do much though. If Falcao wants to join any other club that is interested in him a first option clause isn't going to do us any good. It's really just a very minor advantage, since we'd be the first ones to make an impression. That is if this is even true.
  3. He'll never be like Torres since the expectations for Villa would be far less. Nobody would get as disappointed with Villa if he would only cost around 8-9 mil. He could play worse than Torres but he would never be as bad a signing as Torres was (is). That said, if Torres leaves I would welcome Villa.
  4. David Luiz has been outstanding. And can someone please explain to me why Ba is'nt warming up?
  5. My guess is that he won't accept a role like Giggs and Scholes have.
  6. Because messing us up will only bring even more criticism to his already broken reputation? He has absolutely nothing to gain by messing us up, everything to gain if he does well.
  7. What's worrying is that the manager decided to put a full back instead of Mata... at home...vs. Fulham. Mr. Abromovich must be doubting his awful decision.
  8. Pathetic. Where's the honeymoon effect? Marin coming on for one of the few players who can change the game in a second. Benitez must be on some kind of a mission to get as much hate from chelsea supporters as possible.
  9. Cavani is only a year younger than Falcao, makes absolutely no difference. Hoping for either one, kind of hoping more for Cavani myself though.
  10. Thanks. Would love to see Marko Marin come in down that left wing. Could be a game changer.
  11. Sorry for the late ask but my stream just got shut off, been a long time since firstrow doesn't deliver a quality stream. Would deeply appreciate it if someone could post me their stream.
  12. Doesn't change a thing. Pretty sure he'll end up at Barca, although he seems more like a Madrid type of player. Would of course love him here but can't see it happening, hopefully I'm wrong.
  13. Would've loved to have him a few years ago but he's already 29 years old. I know he still has a lot to give, but personally I like this new transfer policy with buying younger players to groom together. So if he would be available for a relatively low amount (which he isn't) then maybe, but otherwise a definite no for me.
  14. Does anyone have a decent stream? Can't seem to find one.
  15. Are you kidding? FFS let's not be the forum that blames the referee for everything, those penalty shouts were controversial. Flop of the match: The whole fucking team and RDM. Terrible performance.
  16. http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/140770/2/watch-queens-park-rangers-vs-chelsea.html
  17. Is it just me or has Ramires been simply awful? Edit: Didn't see the comments above me, agree with them all.
  18. I would be more pissed if Hazard would come out and say that. The thing is we aren't Liverpool or Spurs, we're one of the biggest clubs in the world and for most players we should be the end-stop, the highest level. I don't want players who see us mainly as a bridge to something bigger. But that's just my opinion, I won't read into it too much because we all know how journalists twist words and take texts out of context. But it's a very stupid thing to say.
  19. Calm down. Oscar just arrived this summer, he's twenty years old. We should be slowly integrating him in the team, and that's exactly what RDM is doing. But I do agree this is too defensive against QPR, would've loved to see Sturridge in the starting line up.
  20. Because Marin is a young player with a bag of potential, and Huntelaar is the poster boy for the "big fish small pond" theory.
