@Mundaka, do you study psychology or smth?

Compared to what time? That's not true. I can be more talkative some days but it doesn't mean anything. Anyway, let's keep our discussions private. You know more about me than you should and I know more about you than I should, that's why we need to keep it private.

I cannot do it because I don't understand some statements. For example: I am easily overwhelmed by strong sensory input. I seem to be aware of subtleties in my environment. I have a rich, complex inner life. My nervous system sometimes feels so frazzled that I just have to go off by myself. Like what the fuck

Holy shit, reading this is just like reading about myself. But since every fifth person is highly sensitive, then I suppose it's normal. I've been unemployed for a looong time now because I can't handle being in foreign environment around strangers. I get anxious and scared. Once I literally ran away from a test day. This really sucks because I can't live like that. When I think about this situation I feel totally helpless. At the same time I am convinced there is nothing wrong with me and I'm making it all up in my head as an excuse to being just plain lazy.

I remember seeing that goal live. Needless to say, I was in awe. Kaka used to be an unreal player.

So true. The thing is it's almost impossible to get out of that cycle when you have trouble socializing and your confidence/self-esteem is literally shattered, every second thought is "you're worthless, you won't amount to anything" and "you're not worth it". You feel guilt even when thinking good and positive thoughts about yourself, because you don't feel worthy of good things and you instantly replace those thoughts with what I wrote before. Many people find help by talking to people or professionals, but what if you don't have courage to do that? What if one of your biggest fears is socializing with strangers face to face? When you simply can't open yourself up even to close ones and start lying and hiding as the easier option? To start training and more importantly, to maintain it so it would actually have long term effects, you need extremely strong willpower and perseverance. Where do you get those things? Nowhere.

I definitely can see him as a good motivator and commanding presence, especially here, where noone could sit onto him.

Talking about Terry, does anybody else think he wouldn't make a good manager? He is a legendary player, but in all honesty he seems a little thick to be managerial success. But I would love our future coaching staff to include Terry, Lampard, Cech and Drogba... in whichever capacity, as long as they are there. Tbh I somewhy see Cech as a future goalkeeping coach. Nevermind this derailment, just thinking out loud for a moment.

Ignorance is strong in this thread I find it a bit funny after Cabaye admitted he was feeling down because he was naturally tired after having his longest campaign to date with no break, being in a debut season in a tougher league in foreign surroundings and being away from his friends and family, that some people say he has no right to feel sad or depressed or whatever just because he has the money to.... I don't know, rub money on his body to take the tiredness away, eat it so not to miss his friends and family in Lille. Hell he could have done what every other rich person does and started drinking or drugging his humanly needs away. Or maybe he could have looked at skinny or dead African kids on the internet or at post-holocaust mass graves, it would have made him feel great for being so privileged. Happy even. I can already imagine him looking at this stuff and smiling to himself. All this guy needed was a break to catch some breath, get over it. Actually I forgot, we aren't talking about Cabaye are we? We're talking about Torres mostly, god knows why.

Did he really say that?

So? Benitez defended and said good things about Liverpool, do most of our fans care that he simply was looking after his employer and team? Imagine an ex Liverpool manager joining us who claims he loves scousers the most and that they are special... oh, you don't have to imagine it. Hence my question about how Manchester fans feel about the prospect of such a coach managing them. I think City fans are neutral, we never had strong rivalry with them, but MU is different. They used to absolutely hate Mourinho. The only difference I suppose is that Mourinho is a world class manager with proven record, as opposed to Benitez who came here with a shattered image.
-
No... Barca? When he talked about England he said Chelsea is special for him and I believe he's also said Chelsea is his home in England.
-
What do Manchester fans think of Mourinho as their manager, taking into consideration he's publicly stated that Chelsea means more to him than any other club? Isn't it almost like Benitez joining us, no?
-
I've noticed that in English the word 'depressed' is often used as 'feeling down', not medically depressed.
-
No, I don't. I and everybody else have the right to get excited when we want to.
-
I can't believe anyone can seriously ask that. Wouldn't you have got excited as a wee child if you were told you were going to Disneyland maybe?
-
Well he got over it quickly...

I briefly saw a title somewhere which said that Cyprus has agreed something with troika, whatever that is.
