Who to blame for the worst season in the Roman era ?
manpe replied to Bosnian Blue's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Look, success is measured by what you win. This year we were in 8 competitions, now we only have the chance to win the fucking Europa League. Are you seriously saying that it would be better than the FA Cup and Champions League? If we fail to win even that, it will be the first trophyless season. Yes we might have played more dire football last year, we did, but it doesn't show that it was the worst season. It will be remembered as one of the greatest seasons in our history. This one will be forgotten and written off quickly. One point about transition. Yes, we are in transition, but imo it's been horribly managed. It should have started ages ago, then we wouldn't be talking about "biting the bullet during radical transition", we would be talking about gradual evolution. Now we suffer because because we went from old to new too quickly. -

The board... shouldn't have fired Mourinho to begin with. If we hire him this summer, it will basically mean the board admit they fucked up. Shouldn't have made some of the baffling signings over the years. Should have shown managers more support. Shouldn't have let go of both Meireles and Essien in the beginning of the season. Shouldn't have made the idiotic decision to make Torres our automatic starter. Shouldn't have sold Sturridge. Shouldn't have hired Benitez. There are a bunch of "shouldn't haves" out there, I believe I don't need to spell them all out. The board has been riddled with facepalmable decisions. No, I don't want to get rid of Roman, he's our suggar daddy and I want his money - have a go at me for saying this, don't care. But the rest of the board and advisors? Yes, get rid, and bring in football businessmen, not only businessmen. -
Foy's a cunt, Agüero's a twat, Kompany's a fanny.

Just seen the Torres goal against Kazan and the pass from Lampard was special.
-
Has Benitez even used him there once?
-
Pointless, nothing to discuss really. Just leeches trying to sell papers.

Well it used to be 64 when I looked.

I didn't know it was possible to view most liked posts, but here you go: http://forum.talkchelsea.net/best-content/ Gary Gordon with 64 likes for one post

Yes I have in the mugshot thread. And what joke?

Oh no, Romper, we had to be gay partners because we both had the nerve to say something to him, it's only a logical and mature conclusion isn't it? That is about the mental level of a 13 year old, labelling everything and everybody 'gay' (or 'gypsy'). @zolayes

But you failed to answer where you mentioned me fucknuggets!
-
Where?
-
@,@Stingray, my notifications show you have mentioned me in some posts. When I click on them I don't see them, it takes me to the last post. Where did you mention me?
-
Well he is American after all
-
What do you mean by that? I didn't fully understand.
-
Ba is injured?? Moses can play stand in striker.
-
Definitely not. The squad limit is 25 players for every team, so if you have 25 crap players who never get injured, you're not gonna win the league. In short, it's about depth, balance and talent/skill imo. If you get a few injuries and don't win the league because of it then frankly you don't deserve to, because having all those 3 aforementioned ingredients would mean you always have adequate replacements. I don't see much room for luck in winning the league, I think whoever wins it deserves it. It's not a cup competition where luck and missing players can make a huge difference. And of course you need someone to manage it all carefully and meticulously, picking the right players at the right time at the right moments.

I agree, the favouritism is very clear in this case. Zolayes criticized Stingray's quality of posting (he said: now he has morfed into some strange form of pond life normally only found in the cesspits of scumpool). The same kind of critics can be addressed to the man himself, let's be honest, zolayes hasn't contributed anything worth mentioning to the forum for a long time now, despite having won the MOTM award twice in a row. He mainly posts irrelevant "clever" wordplays about Torres or Rafa in totally unrelated topics. But since he's won the award twice 2 years ago and also won the "wisest member" award he thinks he's some kind of morale kingpin or etalon of quality that goes around enlightening people, while doing fuck all himself. It's a case of do as I say not as I do. It's actually a pretty bad case of degradation. He used to be liked here, even I used to like him when he wasn't like that. But now, judging by the critics and the amount of likes criticizing posts addressed to him get, indicates he's slowly fallen out of favour. People are just afraid to open their mouths because they're afraid of getting slapped saying anything against him, let's be honest (e.g. Muzchap admitted this to me). This kind of attitude has made him extremely arrogant, he knows nothing is gonna happen to him. But what does it matter what I say, I have a perfect example of how he operates, trying to poke for arguments, yet still manages to slip under the radars. This is a conversation from September spanning only some 4-5 pages in the European games thread. In those pages, he managed to say this: zolayes said: good evening Julie has your father thrown you out again Kojo said: He's an old bloke who picks fights with seventeen year olds, pathetic really.Just keep doing what you're doing mate, your English is fine and i wouldn't complain if it wasn't, as i cannot speak any other languages to save my life. said: Joe Hart is the most overrated goalkeeper in world football history. zolayes said: hjp hop is the most overrated music in the history of the universe Kojo said: Lmao ^Once again picking fights, clearly nothing better to do in life.zolayes said: go to bed Julie the grown ups are hereYeah, the grown ups were really there. It's just that zolayes was not one of them. Notice how he subtly provokes reactions out of people. He bullies Romper, makes a totally off-topic remark regarding hip-hop music clearly to provoke a reaction from Terminator X and then, when people respond to him, he takes petty one-liner stabs (calling a 17 year old boy Julie, that's something you'd expect from a... you get the picture). This is what he does all the time if you pay attention. He has never responded to me properly when I rightfully critiqued him, he has only reverted to his classless one-liners or insults when things aren't looking good for him . When Romper agreed with me on one point, he called him my boyfriend and that was it. He never faces the problems he creates or is involved in, he prefers to be an immature snob because he knows he can get away with it. This has got to stop before he really chases somebody away. This is the man who @ called "our own version of Gandalf". He well could have been back then, but is he now? It's a shame he's knowingly taken that trust and belief in him, thrown it away and is now taking advantage of it. I used to like you I really did, but this is something else now. The fact that I've even bothered to make this long ass post should show something, because anyone who knows me knows that I don't do stuff like this lighthandedly.

Can't believe you were described as "Gandalf of the forum" by a high staff member. Reported.

Who cares what Messi and Ronaldo would do/did in England? Torres sucks, is there any dispute in that?
-
Happy birthday, donkey.

It's ironic that @zolayes used to actively accuse @Kojo of driving people away, but now he himself almost drove away a quality member. The same person who has a dig at every member when he can, and then preaches about 'class' every step of the way, as if he had any. Hypocrisy at its best.
