  1. They say money is the devil, you will sell your soul for it. Is this what has happened to Chelsea? Sadly I'm too young to know.
  2. The problem is he can't do that unless he gets his badges (I think)
  3. Exactly what I thought when I saw that. I had the same face on. He was the best outfield player, at least in 1st half.
  4. Moses/Marin on one wing and Hazard or Mata on the other. But I would actually like Moses and Marin to play together some time. They are our only genuine wingers. We do have players to play in 4-3-3, we might lack a bit of muscle but hopefully that can be compensated with other things.
  5. After Makelele left Mikel has played there fairly well. This pivot thing started only since Robbie took over, up until then it was predominantly 4-3-3 where Mikel played. It's not as if it's a new thing for us. I don't see why he or even Romeu can't play there. It should at least be tried, it's clear as daylight that 4-2-3-1 doesn't suit our current batch.
  6. Vision my balls. He needs to get in the box and score or help others score, not lag where he isn't supposed to be.
  7. When Lampard comes back we need to play him in a 4-3-3. He's our best finisher and he needs to be free to attack the box, not be crippled in a pivot. I'm serious about this, we need to accomodate him back in the team the way it suits him. Watching Ramires trying to build attacks or lining up for a shot is agonizing. Even though Lamps is slow he can still pick a pass and get the ball over the line. I think a midfield 3 of Mikel, Oscar and Lampard could work well. I'm tired of this 4-2-3-1 bollocks. It worked well at first yes, but we've been found out since. And yes I remember 4-3-3 wasn't perfect under AVB either, but we have different players now and surely it's worth at least trying? I mean what's the harm?
  8. What is it with technical players and Chelsea? The only times when I was sure we could string meaningful passes together and beat men in 1-1 situations were under Mourinho's first 2 years and the freak period under Carlo. Every other time our flair players seem to be completely different from what they were in their previous clubs or for their national teams. For example Oscar... when I watched him for Brazil I could count bad passes and turnovers on one hand, now even our most creative players are as productive (read: wasteful) as Ramires. Kalou came with high hopes, but he completely stagnated. Sheva, Torres, Kezman flopped - all rather technical pacey players. Maybe strong bulldozers like Drogba, Essien and Ballack are simply our thing? It's too early to say though, but at the moment everything we do offensively is chaotic. For fuck's sake we got our asses handed to us by Swansea, WBA, Fulham and fucking Wet Spam. This is worryingly close to what Liverpool is doing and now we have their ex gaffer and blonde fuck spearheading our club. I think some critics need to be directed towards our coaching team. We have been struggling under the same problems for years yet there is little to no progress to be seen. I don't think it's enough to simply change managers, something needs to be changed on a wider scale. Are our coaches good enough?
  9. I'm just posting here to demonstrate my new sig. Can I get a virtual high five? No??
  10. Lmao at goal.com Title: Essien returns to Chelsea as injury cuts Madrid jaunt short Article: "Essien is not injured but is suffering from an allergic reaction to a drug," stated Karanka at a press conference.
  11. Yeah yeah, your mouth is foaming. You pin-pointed him as your main contender for postcount so you disqualified him. You couldn't have gone to university knowing your lack of free time could cost you your position, so it was either him or the uni. Two members who got under the skins of egomaniac staffies got banned. This whole thing reeks of conspiracy you dirty freemason.
  12. Except for anyone named justin or cap #justiceforcap #wearecapunited #bringbackcap
  13. It may not come close in those subjective terms but the fact is that CFCnet is bigger and more known, I believe that is what the OP wanted to know. A novice doesn't know that and relying on cold hard facts there is a better chance he/she has heard CFCnet and will join them.
  14. That water puddle should get an assist for that. I remember "experts" saying stuff like Torres is a master because he reacted and turned so quickly and bla bla... lol. I can bet everything that he would have overdribbled, fallen over or misfired had the puddle not been there. There was no one to contest that ball once it had stopped. His one and only goal in the second half of 2010-2011 season was a freak of nature.
  15. Already against Fulham I noticed some of the trio were trying to find Torres in tight situations, especially Oscar. If they start concentrating more on Torres and less on the team, we will end up like Liverpool did, except in addition to no trophies we won't have a striker either. But I do like those words:
  16. It's as if their families had died. They won it 3 times in last 6 years, get over it. But it's good to see them suffering, their tears must taste sweet.
  17. Marco Polo Del Nero is an epic name. It's a single i away from being godlike - Marco Polo Del Niro Oh yeah, this is about scolari... well good luck with that, but he should be an international manager, shouldn't he? his club record sucks tho.
  18. Yeah, although Indian Chelsea fans have their own forum and a pretty popular one as well, why isn't it in top results?
  19. @Strike, it comes 4th in my search.. 3rd if to exclude chelseafc fans forum, which isn't an online forum.
  20. According to PhysioRoom.com at 13th December, same time as Terry. That's a rough estimation.
  21. Number of members: Chelsea FC Forums - 23,460 CFCnet - 21,660 The Shed End - 9,601 TC - 8,138 Number of posts: CFCnet - 1,128,520 The Shed End - 565,257 TC - 552,749 Chelsea FC Forums - 170,309 Going by those numbers I'd say CFCnet is the biggest by far. Then comes The Shed End followed by TC, despite CFF having considerably more members, they seem to lack activity judging by the total number of posts. So yeah, I'd say TC is the 3rd most popular online Chelsea community.
