  1. If he does well and keeps the team afloat until a """"""permanent""""" manager gets appointed, I won't have anything against him. Hopefully he does the minimum and keeps us in top 4 and not get us humiliated in Europa League, if we do end up there. Under current circumstances it's most important to finish in top 4, so that we could still promise CL football next season. If he does that and fucks off I'm good.
  2. I somewhat agree. Every time we play a formidable team, we look out of depth, we get outplayed. It's been going on since Carlo's bad moment. There are some brilliant games where we heavily rely on genius of our best players, but many mid table teams can outperform us any given day even though they have only a fraction of our quality. At the moment it's like whenever I see us making some kind of meaningful combinations, string together meaningful passes, I go "wow", because it's a sight not often seen these days. This "Cole is the best left back in the world" cliche is just that now, a cliche. He stopped being the best a few years ago, there are better left backs out there now. But nevertheless he can still be productive defensively, just yesterday he had another goal line clearance for us. Bertrand isn't better and unfortunately there are no available replacements in the market I fear, because good full backs are a rarity and teams will do anything to hold on to them. And I agree about Mikel-Ramires pivot, it's good enough for destroying but not good for building. Yesterday Ramires was garbage imo, Mikel not much better. Against Juventus I understood we were going to be outplayed the moment I realized Cech had touched the ball the most out of everyone. When he had the ball, our defenders and deep midfielders got marked so there was no choice but to hoof it to our midgets upfront, who naturally didn't even try to contest the likes of Chiellini and Bonucci. There was no plan B, we simply tried to grind out a draw. We need some fucking actual tactics, we need to start pressing like Juventus did. Nobody does that at the moment, everybody jogs deep and starts thinking about it the moment they approach our box, which is too late.
  3. So if we get Rafa that means Torres stays at least till summer. It's also possible Toro Rosso will up his game a bit after reunion with his papa, so he will not even get shipped in summer. Then he will stink again under Guardiola, lose against WBA, get benched and Pep gets sacked.
  4. As much as I would like to overreact, every sacking after Mourinho has proven to be the right thing done (with the debatable exception of King Carlo). I'm gutted for Robbie though, really gutted. I so wanted him to succeed. But we should keep an open mind that maybe he wasn't the right man for the job. Oh well, nothing new here, I'm already used to it. Anyway, West Brom seems to be our curse. Last year AVB fucked up there, he got the boot. This year Robbie got one chance after that game, but still got the boot. It will be fun to see what happens if Rafa should take over. Is boycott a possiblity? I remember last season after AVB got sacked fans chanting something like "Fuck Rafa!". But if he does take over, it will be only for interim I suppose. No doubt Guardiola will be here next season, and to be honest I wouldn't be too disappointed with that. He has experience with flair players and by the time he comes, we will hopefully have proper strikers and a sound midfield. We could potentially become much stronger with his experience. Let's think positive here for a moment. Hopefully he's spending his time in the States learning English though, I can't take another taciturn manager who can't pronounce Chelsea properly.
  5. You know, these kind of games make me believe that we were actually the weakest team to win the Champions League. Not qualifying from the group will be a disgrace, it will make history in a negative way. Going to Europa League would be the ultimate humiliation, considering how we humiliate everybody else when they end up there. There were no positives from the performance. Again we looked incoherent, aimless, couldn't string meaningful passes together. Juve's midfield completely overrun us. I find it also funny that Robbie's idea of playing defensive is sticking a fullback on the wing. Has that ever actually worked for us? I mean really work like it's supposed to? I don't think it has. We invited pressure and we got what we deserved. Nothing more to say. We need Terry and Lamps back in those tough times. The youngsters are succumbing to pressure.
  6. I don't think anybody actually wants him to be bad, that would be counterproductive. The thing is our hopes are rarely answered, his every goal costs nearly 3 million pounds.
  7. That just means playing ramires or ryan on the wings, not parking the bus. And it has little effect.
  8. Was it actually given to him? I thought it was own goal since Hazard wanted to head the ball across the box but it hit the defender and changed trajectory significantly. At least that's how I recall that moment.
  9. Could it be possible the club put the banner there for marketing purposes? E: Just googled it, it's definitely from the fans. How terrible, it's a copy of Liverpool's banner with their symbolics. How moronic, fuck me I'm embarrassed.
  10. It could be because they are both fairly new players. Cahill is a freshman, he isn't any kind of authority in defense. Neither of them is. Luiz is the kind of player who needs to play alongside a strong presence, somebody who takes him under his wing. Cahill is the same. They just play separately their own games, they don't lead or guide anybody. Either of them needs to be paired up with Ivanovic or Terry, preferrably JT. I mean you can have two good defenders (which both of them are), but if none of them is dominant, then there will be a lot of bad gaps between the good defenders.
  11. Maybe the people just wanted to see him score? I mean it is a collector's item being to a game where he scores. It's a story to be told to your offspring. But it is actually a disgrace. Wanting a cancerous figure to score more than a genuine club legend aiming for a record. I hear he has his own banner at the Bridge? Mind boggling.
  12. Exactly. Add to that the way he often reacts on the pitch when somebody doesn't pass to him, then he slouches around. Plus it really annoys me when he misses a chance and then he goes and smiles, as if it's a big joke fucking the club. I understand when someone like Ronaldo does that, because he knows he will tuck away next opportunity he gets. Anyway, I don't know why that even bothers me, but with him it does.
  13. I don't understand what the writing on the picture means
  14. He has made a mockery of himself by prematurely saying he'd fill Drogba's boots. That statement has come to backfire him big time. He's a mental masochist. He finally was free from Drogba's big black shackles and able to do his own, yet he decided to forever cast Drogba's lurking shadow on himself by saying things like that. He was never going to be able to shine his boots, let alone fill them, but he willingly wanted to make a joke out of himself. I think he wants to get out of Chelsea as soon as possible. He realized a long time ago he has nothing here, thus he looks uninterested on the pitch and completely foolish in the media (the "I didn't care if we lost" story was especially blatant). He wants and needs to go, it's obvious.
  15. Emelado? You mean Emenalo? How do you know he is responsible?
  16. Cahill and Luiz partnership is a disaster.
  17. Where is this great link up play everybody is talking about? All I see is 80 kilos of flesh lying on the floor.
  18. How about using a more contemporary skin if this one is so outdated? Try to make it look like this one as much as you can, like using the same imageset, font and colours. A little change in appearance will be worth saving your troubles and people will get used to it over time anyway.
  19. I saw David in my dream tonight. He was sad. I tried to cheer him up, so I offered to buy him a snickers, he refused. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=decJZLFc8zQ&feature=related
  20. Even though the schedule is a bitch for the players, I will be happy to see a Chelsea game every 3 days without pesky breaks
  21. Not false 9. A false 9, as I understand it, is like a second striker who goes deep and plays practically in the hole. JT would be a pure target man, we could hoof it and cross it to him and he would win headers for us up front. Not such a bad idea tbh As a striker I'd rather see Cahill, he can head and shoot. Or Luiz.
  22. If we lose, they will be only 1 point behind us. This shows how good they've been. It will be a tougher game than against Liverpool, for sure. A lot of people will underestimate them just because they're named like a relegation team. We need to bring our A-game if we're to get 3 points out of this fixture.
