Yes, you could say that throughout the season both would get a respectable amount of games, but we all know that when Jose finds his starting XI, he doesn't let go of it very lightly. One of them would be reduced to bit-part player like Luiz, Mikel or Mata last season and for an ambitious player that's not good enough.

Not sure why he got the MVP award, shouldn't it be traditionally from the winning team? One of Müller or Kroos would have been excellent and more appropriate shouts, but considering Kroos didn't have the best in the final and Müller was fantastic throughout, I would have given it to him. Messi definitely deserves a place in the team of the tournament, but in the end he was still a loser, thus not worthy of gold anything. I believe it's FIFA's way of trying to force a new 'Maradona' down our throats.

Well, it's only good that we have those options now. Last season we had only one option and it showed. I'm glad Rambo is available for us, but I wasn't glad when he was the only one available.
