Probably the first time he reminded me the Oscar of Brazil. Up and down, left and right all day long.

It would be a travesty if JT didn't retire with us. It was wrong enough seeing Beckham retiring at PSG hugging random people he barely knew in front of fans who barely cared, it would be even wronger if JT had to retire elsewhere. He needs a proper "these are my last minutes" moment at Stamford Bridge. Anybody who entertains the thought of letting JT go to "make room for wages" is in my estimation a fuckwit and has no sense of respect or loyalty.

I doubt Danny would ever want to come back. And I doubt he's ever going to want to play second fiddle to anyone again. He's established himself in Liverpool as one of the finest strikers in the league, I see no reason for him to leave this good situation and risk being obscured once again.

Jose is gonna win us the league in his press conferences and interviews. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1Faxw8eEHQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10Q2LfOQdi8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1ziAnpT5uQ http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1bj8nk_reaction-mourinho-on-newcastle_sport

Glad to see Jose having a snap at the player of the month sham. "Only the people that give the awards don't enjoy [watching him play]." Jose

Sorry for the multiple posts, but the tweets wouldn't all load in the same post. Your spoilers are empty.

Some people say that? I guess they haven't seen Phil Jones or Demichelis playing in midfield.

Anyone else dread the day when he gets fouled and doesn't get up afterwards? I've seen warning signs already, like the bitter tackle from Vidic which got him the red card. On a bad day it could have ended much worse. It's already amazing that he's got smacked much more than any player in the league and hasn't had any problems, but I can't expect it to continue like that till the end of times. I just hope when that day comes, it won't be very bad. Hazard is our first real superstar player in a long time, he's so exciting to watch that I honestly don't remember anybody like that, not even Robben, who was a one-trick pony to be ruthlessly honest. You could say Zola perhaps, but truth be told I was too young at that time to have any real recollection, maybe the older fans can tell me if he measures up or has the potential to measure up to Zola? We've been an outstanding team throughout the Roman era, true, but we've never really had a standout individual who gets praised and watched all over the world. And of all the places, he's from Belgium, who would have thought?
-
I heard him saying that he's on the team sheet and thus has a chance of playing, I didn't hear him specifically say he's gonna make an appearance.
-
We must, otherwise how would he get the necessary experience? The other option would be to buy an established and experienced player and be done with it, but that would just show that the club really aren't serious with all this talk about promoting youth, unless you're a young wonderkid on the radar of every major club in the world. There's a big difference between trusting the Hazards and Oscars of this world and then the Shaws. Plus he's English and Chelsea are an English club, so for me he would be a very good signing replacing an englishman with an englishman. Otherwise we'd be forced to meet the home-grown quota by registering a bunch of no-hopers on the team sheet and have no real use of them. Plus you have to realize that those huge European games come along every now and then a year, it's not like he's gonna play Bayern or Barca every single week, he'd be playing mostly against worse English sides, which he has done with success already.

Possibly, but that's just your opinion. I watched the Bergkamp goal and I didn't see any signs of it being accidental, neither did Bergkamp himself say it wasn't intentional, in fact he said he thought it was the best option to get through on goal the quickest. If you look at that goal, he starts turning the moment he touches the ball and looks at the goal, so in my eyes it was as intended as such a move can be.
-
How do you know they didn't mean it?
-
Pause the video when Frank touches the ball, I'm pretty sure Bolton's right back is at least on the same line as Dids.
-
Don't know what to make of this. They call it te famous team goal but it seems to me more like Giroud-Wilshere goal. The goal itself is pretty over-rated considering Wilshere got atleast 1 lucky touch but the intend was there. I hadn't seen that goal before but now I looked it up, it's quite awesome. If Chelsea had scored that we'd all be dead right now out of dehydration from excessive jizzing. It's pretty much on par with this (of course Lampsy's flick was much more awesome).

Willian is frustrating. He seems to deliver the corners and indirect free-kicks either too low (most of the time), too high or just plain inaccurately. When Lampsy plays, he's a nailed on corner and indirect fk taker for me. I'm worried if Willian is the best we got to be honest, because we got so many good box scorers in our team it's not even funny anymore that we don't utilize this strength to the maximum. Given our lack of efficiency from open-play, making use of set-pieces can make the difference between 3 points and 1 point. I would like to see Hazard taking a direct free-kick now and then. If he really wants to be a complete player, he should start doing so. Real leaders usually take the responsiblity. I don't believe he lacks the skill to do it, maybe he just doesn't want to or doesn't work on it, which would be a shame. Otherwise I have no idea who could take our free-kicks, all of them pretty much suck at it. Luiz can score the odd goal every once in a while and so can Oscar apparently, but the rest haven't given me any reason to think they would be any better either... except for maybe Lampard, who isn't a regular anymore and he still fancies hitting the wall more than the goal, so who knows. Oh, and what about Ivanovic? I think he has hit some piledrivers for Serbia. Could be worth a shot (pun intended) from distance.
-
Shame? Which side you on m8? Sir Andy Gray would have a thing or two to say about that.
-
LOOOOOOOOOL I totally forgot about that! We never set a deadline to collect! In fact, there should be a penalty for late delivery! I say, because we beat them home and away, you should post a video doing that bunny dance first then the gangam style dance as well :D @manpe, @didierforever, @Ainsley Harriott, All in favor?
