  1. Hope not. So accustomed to Samsung already. Looks nice and all. Shouldn't be a problem for them to spit out more money, they are in top 10 richest businesses in the world. Turkish Airlines would look and sound just plain awful imo.
  2. Kid is showing ambition, I like it. Keep it up, you might soon make the bench. And who knows, if you play your cards right, one day become a fans' favourite.
  3. I don't need to, it's obvious. Or just try finding out who I voted for.
  4. Only one obvious choice in that poll tbf.
  5. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/14363-loic-remy/?p=975381 @
  6. Thibo is an infant in goalkeeper years, it's scary to think how much better he can still become. Although I'm no expert, but when I see him play, I can't see any big faults, only minor ones from time to time. His reflexes and command of the area is as good as any. With accumulation of experience and top class coaching, he will become the best.
  7. I feel that the strikers Mourinho has signed since coming here, have all been personality signings. Eto'o, Diego and Drogba ooze of strong personality (too early to say anything about Remy). With those three signings, Jose reinstated some much needed balls back to our striking force. Eto'o was literally a stop-gap till we were waiting for the real deal, but even he brought some much needed courage and quality back to our attack until we waited. Losing this mental edge in games was one of my biggest worries pre-Jose. He knows what he's doing.
  8. We've successfully replaced the three deadwoods from last season. Now that is what you call an overhaul. Ding*ding*ding Man United...
  9. Hopefully we wrap this up soon, so we don't panic splash 30M on Destro or whoever.
  10. Amazing, 4 goals with no service whatsoever... oh wait
  11. He's still shaking off some rust. Remember it's been only 3 games, he looks like the type of player who needs time to get back to his best. The mistakes he's made look more like something that will get ironed out with more games. I'm not worried, he will be back to mr reliable in no time.
  12. We win at Everton away, we score six, Diego Monsta scores twice, Torres leaves... been a happy day
  13. Our first real test, Everton away.. always difficult. Will be a cracking game I hope.
  14. I'm just nitpicking, but he only confirmed he's leaving. Quote about Chelsea "as far as I know yeah". But all things aside, it's almost as good as confirmation so WELL DONE. We've had some good transfer windows these past few years but this one takes the top.
  15. Blind would be a good signing for United. Versatile, has experience under his belt, but still presumably has his best years ahead of him. Fits perfectly in a 3-5-2 as a wing-back or defensive midfielder if they keep persisting with it. Wasn't too expensive. The best signing United have made so far in terms of quality, need and price. Will probably be a key figure along with Di Maria.
  16. Considering how often the defenders see the ball, they really can't afford to have players like Blackett in there. Where is Rojo anyway?
  17. Read the link I gave I feel it's a bit unfair to include him in here, but given his statistics elsewhere, he's a valid inclusion. He wasn't always the number 9 at Chelsea in his spell there. He only had the number for one season which wasn’t his most prolific, spending most of his time on the bench. Prior to that, he was wearing the number 21 at the club and performed better. His time at Chelsea was somewhat successful but he was never able to settle in England despite his efforts. He was loaned to AC Milan for one season, then returned back to Chelsea for another season and then finally left to Inter Milan. 49 apps, 20 goals
  18. And that's exactly what we need, considering we are a one striker team and we can't hold two natural starters. He'd be playing second fiddle to Costa, and for that he checks all the boxes, at least theoretically. Our second option, Destro, would be much more expensive and some could argue more risky. I challenge you to name better targets considering it's the last days of transfer window and clubs are extremely reluctant to let anybody go at this point.
  19. I think this number should be left alone for a while. It's endured world of abuse these past years (Kezman, Crespo, Boulahrouz, Sidwell, Di Santo, Torres). http://www.thefootballsupernova.com/2012/01/curse-of-chelseas-number-9.html I think let's leave it alone, let it rest from all the shame, and revisit that number when the time is right. 19 suits Costa very well imo, he could make it his own.
  20. So the latest news is from 1st August. It took me ages to find that little blue arrow at the top-right to view the real latest news. Well done site designers.
  21. The move is now subject to Fernando agreeing personal terms with AC Milan and passing a medical examination. Now see him get injured and not pass his medical or pulling out at the last moment.
  22. What do people have against tap-ins? A goal is a goal Nothing is enough for you guys.
