He will once Jose done with him.

And is it like that now? Because I can remember quite a few games where we scraped through. We are good, probably the best in the league currently, but we could be better and we should be better, if we are going for everything. We will have a squeaky spell and then I doubt you'll be so confident of our dominance.

It's a non-question. Summer, because January is bad luck. And so far this season we have no reason to disrupt our functioning team. I would be for January only if other teams went in aggressively and left us no choice.

I understand if you were neutral and had that view, but as a Chelsea supporter you're basically saying you want us to deliberately hinder our development so that others could have a sniff. This is quite complacent, don't get arrogant over a few months of good spell, remember the history. I think in the coming seasons you'll be surprised of how competitive the premier league still is, even if we do happen to run away with it this season. Here you never have a dominant force for prolonged periods of time, thus we need to constantly be on the look-out and evolve, so that our inevitable fall from potential dominance gets pushed further and further into the future. Also, sitting on the fence seriously hurts your butt, so get your ass to the YES camp.

You listed players who can play his position, but is it a luxury buy if he actually improves those positions? When I think of luxury buys I normally think of players who are at most the same level as the ones we already have, but he would take our team up another level, which is what we strive for. In terms of individual quality our squad would be very close, if not on par, with the Reals and Bayerns of the world. And we know that Jose will make those individuals absolutely brilliant together. SIGN!

Anybody still considers him a right back after playing two seasons straight at left?

I don't know who you are, I don't know what you want. What I do know is that I have a very particular set of skills, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you. -
Granted, I'm not very regular in here anymore lately, but when did this Schürrle hate begin? And why? I don't get it..
-
That is the problem. However I do hope the likes of Chalobah, Baker and Lofty Cheek get a fair chance one season. I especially like Baker, what a player. In an ideal world those three would be our future midfield trio, but I'll celebrate if even one of them gets through.

The minimum I want is for the team to have somebody or somebodies who can speak fluent English in British accent in interviews. It gets cringeworthy when the best speakers you have are a bunch of Oscars who struggle to get their point across, while proudly proclaiming to be english team. I used to mock Arsenal for that. There should be an English representative always present. And by that I don't mean a third choice goalkeeper.. But I doubt we'll have as strong British presence as we used to in Cole, Bridge, Terry, Lamps, J.Cole, Duff in a long time (forgive me if I missed someone).

Who do u want to see start in the FB positions?
manpe replied to Victor Von Doom's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Ivanovic and Cesar have been working good so far so I see no reason to replace them. Luis will need to work his way into the team just like Azpi did. -
Some of the doomy-gloomy posts are baffling. What is it so far this season that has made you so pessimistic against this average mid-table team?
-
Doubt there is any serious interest. We have a plethora of young defenders in the making (Zouma, Kalas, Christensen, Omeruo). If we're looking to improve our defensive frailty, then going for an established and proven defender is the way to go. I'm sure we have scouted him, as it's only natural to keep an eye on every potential talent, but that doesn't automatically prove a serious interest.

What a finish. That was a perfect move all around starting from us winning the ball, Fabregas making the splendid pass and Costa finishing it off in cold fashion. I have a feeling goals like that will become classics over the years, just like Lampard-Drogba ones.
-
Somebody should show Lampard this thread. Frank, look what you've done
-
I suck at rating. I can only tell if a player plays shit or good, then they stand out. If they play average, then I'm useless. I observe games in general, not singling out any individuals. So a rating between 1-5 would be satisfactory, but 1-10 is too much imo if it ever gets implemented.

I'll give my two cents to this discussions. What Lampard has done is NOT okay, in my books at least. I'm not calling him a traitor or judas, but he is playing for our title rivals and even directly influenced the title race against us. He willingly and knowingly contributed FOR our rivals. I have a feeling many people choose not to let that sink in. Granted, he is a top professional, I'll give him that, but it doesn't make what he did right for me. There may be several reasonable justifications for his decisions and actions, but I don't care, it is still wrong on all levels. Lampsy is a legend over here, no questioning that, and I might be able to forgive him because out of all the footballers, he's my all-time favourite. I will forgive him, because he's given us far more than he's taken. But I will never forget 21.09.2014 - the day he scored against us, the day John Terry had to block his shot, the day he made us feel miserable. Also a big fuck you to Pellegrini, prick.

The video has been taken down. Is there any other place where I can see it? I tried googling but no avail.

Turkish Airlines rumoured to replace Samsung
manpe replied to Waterfall's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
It's actually funny that companies give big money to already filthy rich clubs to stick their logo on their shirts, and in return the club sells those shirts for obscene prices to regular people in order for them to spread the brand outside the stadium. As a result the brand becomes more popular, the club gets more money, and still sells shirts which value is determined solely on the brands sticked on it. And people gobble it all up, they love it! The shirt business in football is capitalism at its worst. They make a few alterations every season, so that people would want to buy the "new" thing for reasons they can't even explain (zombie consumership). And the club is happy because they just convinced you to give them your hard-earned money to promote the sponsor who gives them tens of millions every year anyway. And of course people are happy because they got the new thing. Actually thinking like that it's a win-win-win for all, errbody happy! Carry on... -
Seriously though, when's the last time somebody scored 7 goals in first 4 games? If ever...

I FUCKING LOVE YOU DIEGO PLS MARRY ME

No chance. And on top of that don't want him here.. no room for divas. Real is the perfect club for him and Ronaldo embodies everything that Real represents, they belong together so let him stay there.

You would? The chevy logo is absolutely hideous. The 2nd or 4th option from that picture would be much better. Preferably the rightmost one, but with smaller text. -
