I was too. Azpi is essentially playing three positions - CB, FB and DM. When we defend he covers the central to right area wherever he is needed, so a full-back and central defender in one. When we attack he pushes up from the defensive line to bridge the gap where a defensive midfielder would normally operate, recycling and helping retain possession, keeping things nice and tidy while our two b2b midfielders go forward. He is our organizer, I believe he is key to making things work so efficiently at the back. His passing numbers show that he is the focal point of building play from the back and making sure the ball keeps circulating until it reaches the dangerous areas.

I thought it was humanly impossible to NOT park the bus after 1-0 up. I thought it was physically impossible NOT to revert to defensive survival tactics after getting humiliated by a local rival.
