  1. Nope. Doesn't fit the pressing game we're playing. Also not a winger and we don't use CAM.
  2. Does anybody even care what the Nigerian head coach has to say? Conte is probably laughing at him.
  3. Funny, I've seen him kiss a black child Or not towards blacks?
  4. Congratulations to Americans for dodging that criminal Wall Street bullet. Shit options but you got the most interesting of the two, fun times ahead. Maybe you will finally break out of your stagnation, time will tell. Politically interesting times in my country as well. Our ruling party, which has been in power for the past 17 years, will be unanimously voted out of the government today by the rest of the parliament factions. It's looking very likely that a new leftist government will be formed. Interestingly the party that has been villanized as pro-Kremlin and been in the opposition for over a decade will take over. Uncertainty ahead globally and locally.
  5. To me it seems like Jose cannot let go of the past. He wants every player to be like the ones who brought him success in the past - Cech, Terry, Lampard, Drogba, Zanetti, Sneijder, Zlatan etc. All strong characters for sure, he was very lucky to be managing such fine players, there aren't many more like that anymore. He saw that in Ivanovic and thus also ran him to the ground, ignoring his decline. It's just mental to play a 30 something man every single fucking game, but now he's saying Carrick cannot play more because he's old. Bullshit. He is doing the same with Zlatan now, undroppable not because of his footballing skills, but because Mourinho associates him with past success, just like he did with Eto'o when he bought him. About Hazard, what he doesn't realize is that he is not Lampard, he cannot play 160+ matches in a row. Frank was a freak of nature, Hazard is a flair player in need of careful handling. He has completely failed to adapt to different types of players than those who brought him success, that's why he keeps criticizing them. He does not realize that more often than not it will backfire. He either moves on with the times, or slowly fades away like he is doing now. Look at Conte, look at Klopp, even look at Pochettino... they are football people concentrating on football and player development, not some romantic notion of having soldiers bleeding for the cause. They will fight for you eventually when they realize that following you will bring them success, but all Jose is doing is pushing his players further from him and not doing a single thing to actually improve and motivate his players.
  6. 91% passing accuracy, most attempted and successful passes in the team, 4th highest passer in the league. He probably leads the team in interceptions and tackles too, I don't have to look at statistics to know that. Is there anything this fella can't do? What a complete beast.
  7. Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho despises sulkers, says Mark Schwarzer Schwarzer, 44, told BBC Radio 5 live's Friday Sports Panel that he once saw his former boss "destroy a table" and that Mourinho would not consider those players who do not perform for future selection.
  8. Shaw to battle out the LWB spot with Alonso, liking the sound of it. And he's English too. Come on Jose, you know you want to sell this ungrateful fat lump!

  10. The amount of space they give United is hilarious despite being 3-0 down. No pressure, no closing down whatsoever. They are actually making this United side appear like a decent team.
  11. Perfect result. Now if United lost would make the perfect weekend.
  12. Calling Conte average was premature I agree. Those people have since retracted those statements but sometimes I am amazed how quickly people are able to give damning verdicts. All supporters are self-claimed, not assigned (except North Korean) .
  13. Because they want to be us, but can't be us
  14. We will definitely concede, Stuani will find it easy to score just like Lukaku did.
  15. There is an exception to every rule. If that makes you feel entitled to call the rest of us headless chickens, then go ahead.
  16. I was also talking about and criticizing our players' qualities and characters, the same way I was questioning Mourinho's. And all of it was justified, we were relegation fodder mere months after being crowned champions. The players weren't blameless even though it all stemmed from Jose as we now know, it was too huge of a drop to attribute it all to one man and after all Jose wasn't the one making dumb mistakes on the pitch. When you see a player making dumb mistakes game after game, then you talk about his quality and character, it's how our minds work. I don't see how you could NOT question our squad last season. Again, let's not glorify the failings of last season, he was bad.
  17. Our manager, who people worshipped and adored for obvious reasons, kept throwing his players under the bus. We see the same happening at United now and their fans falling for it the same way we did, and they don't even worship the man like we do/did. We were misguided by an egocentric manipulator and can now see what really was happening. However, last season, calling him an headless chicken was justified based on the performances and human psychology. He wasn't the only one being called names so the "the whole team were shit last year" point is moot to this discussion as everybody got their fair share of stick in their respective threads. And it still doesn't change the fact that Mourinho or no Mourinho, they still played like crap. Hindsight is a great way to be all smart.
  18. Those crosses he gave to Costa and Moses were sublime, he put them up on silver platter for them, just take it and score... but Costa hit the keeper and Moses hit the post. He gave the one to Moses with his right foot as well. He made both of them look effortless, but we as Chelsea fans have learned to appreciate simple things like that after years of suffering watching Bosingwa and Ivanovic hit the first man. On another day he could have had two great assists to add to his goal and be a genuine contender for motm. I had very low expectations of him after Fiorentina fans were happy to get rid of him, but he is actually an immense player for us. 3:00 and 5:15
  19. Please do an analysis on how James Rodriguez would improve our team at the moment in place of Pedro.
