Well, if that's the case then I wouldn't require much other than putting up for vote people who I nominate and who of course agree to be nominated. A new admin besides myself and maybe a couple of new moderators if time shows that it's needed. I will not work with random applicants who I do not trust. I've worked with people before who didn't know what they were doing or simply went "rogue" and cast a shadow on the rest of us, I refuse to go through that because I'm not a babysitter and need competent, honest people in the team. Looking at the staff list, I do not see many active names so a few new members are probably in order. If it's not acceptable this way, then that's a deal-breaker for me. As I said I'm not desperate for the position, but if I were to get it then things would need to be done properly.

I get the same impression. Once he's done with United I hope he takes a sabbatical, there isn't a manager in the world who needs it more than he does.

I am ready to take it. Seeing that you lack motivation and already tried to step down, then it's obvious you need to be replaced. I have a lot of experience moderating and administrating forums with hundreds or thousands of members of different demographic. I more or less know how things should work. I might be able to help Jim with technical side of things too, though I don't have experience with IPB, I have built and maintained PhpBB forums and am generally a quick learner of stuff like that. He admitted he had no time and hasn't found anybody who can help him, I could try. I would do it only on two conditions though: 1) Special Juan steps down, 2) I get to choose my team. I am very well aware that being an admin is not a privilege, but a chore and an ungrateful job, so I'm not gonna beg for it, just putting myself out there as an option if changes are needed or wanted.

Yeah, this modern forum started out November 2007, but TC existed before on some other platform I believe.

@Fulham Broadway was trying to PM you but got this error in attachment. Can you PM me? @Jim

You as a former insider should know

I am actually very calm lol, it just that those frauds are grinding my gears by destroying a place I love It's probably best I stay away for a bit though, yes, it's not like there is any hope of getting a substantiated response from any of them.

Okay, if you have proper rationale and you make every single decision together, then why the secrecy? Why hasn't the banned members thread been updated? Why is Special Juan and co. (you included) ignoring our feedback and not giving any proper replies to members who are clearly looking for answers to your actions? Why were we condescendingly told to go away without a single decent word? Members like Stats have invested a lot of time and effort here throughout the years. He obviously cares about this place or he wouldn't have bothered posting... why is he being ignored as if he was nobody? No respect shown whatsoever, you reap what you sow, so don't expect respect from us in return. His accusations have a solid foundation I'm sure of that, because none of you has had any balls to say anything beyond stupid posts like "FORUM DRAMA" or whatever. Ignoring your issues until they drown out and are forgotten, very typical. And yes, you, the staff, do have your fair share of responsibility for this community's downfall, don't try to deny that, just have a glance at the number of likes my post got... ESPECIALLY after Special Juan demonstrated his elitist attitude and urged people to fuck off and go to other forums. You guys live in a little bubble thinking everything you say or do is the holy grail and everybody else should just shut up. You don't explain anything properly, at best something along the lines that "it's unanimous and for the greater good".. well I don't trust you, I don't believe that you are doing things honestly and unbiased.

Thing is he's taking subtle digs at Chelsea and fans, not only now but he did it when he was here as well. Not to mention how he ruined our squad to accomodate his unimaginative football. I think these are the main reasons why people are loving it, can't imagine people being this elated if Hiddink or Ancelotti suffered this bad - all classy people and respected here. Mourinho basically stabbed us in the back, people are venting their anger. Though I agree, calling him obscene names is unnecessary and I have been guilty of that too. You know, I feel everything that is happening to him right now feels like karma for his specialist in failure comment. You just don't go saying stuff like that publicly, no matter how funny or true it is. His media handling has been truly awful ever since he came back to England and as a result he has a target on his back.

That's what you want from your ball-playing defender, to be technically adept at getting the ball forward and he does that well. Doubt he would be able to dictate tempo, be a creative outlet and the focal point of possession play, that in a position with less time on the ball. Don't think he has the eye or intelligence to be a playmaker.
-
Not really, overhits them quite often or gives hopeless ones. At least that's how I remember him from his first stint with us, haven't really paid attention to it this time. A playmaker also needs creativity and correct decision making in addition to pure technical skill to pull off passes, I very much doubt he can do it.
-
Doubt it, his passing is not good enough for that. Decent for a defender.
-
Not to mention the form Diego is in, he would gobble up his passes all night long.
-
Pedro. 3-5-2. Free role to Hazard to roam around. Azpi - Luiz - Cahill Moses - Kante - Fabregas - Matic - Alonso Costa - Hazard Worth a shot in a low pressure game imo. Until then no need to fix what isn't broken and better to stick with 3-4-3 with the usual line-up.
-
Opposition fans have always been saying what a hypocrite he is. He really is isn't he? Can't believe a single word he says. He is now wrapping Utd fans around his finger with his sappy shit lol, good luck with that poor gits.
-
Surprising to see Luiz being the least involved.
-
Consider their home form. They had not been beaten at St Mary’s in the previous 11 games. Chelsea’s win here last February had preceded that run.

10/10 attitude, "accept my unquestionable decisions or be gone, lowly peasant!" Problems of this forum summed up in short, you guys are so used to giving cop-out answers without giving a single fuck it's amazing. This is a feedback thread meant for exactly these kind of things, and this is the kind of reply we get from a forum representative to our feedback: "go away"? My word... I was actually hoping you would come here, show some humility and explain yourself in a respectful manner, but in light of this I'm now convinced you're on a power trip. Keep it up, you might just succeed in alienating every proper member on here and bring this forum down the shitter until only trolls are left. I will not leave just because you said so, I will keep pointing out authoritarian attitude like this until @Jim sees the light and things improve. Surely he cannot think everything is fine here? Just read how your henchmen are talking to the members who make up this community ffs. @Jim - Carelessness and indifference are the biggest problems right now. This place needs a complete mentality overhaul before it's too late. I'm willing to help with this, if interested, contact me. Special Juan is a new member and doesn't know what real TalkChelsea is about as demonstrated by his arrogant attitude - a place with great camaraderie and mutual respect. Both are lost and trust in your staff is probably at an all-time low. It's also a shame it's got to the point where I feel the need to copy this post down in case it gets deleted.

Don't read that dross, they are biased to the core and not Chelsea fans. Their logic is super flawed. Mikel is their legend and they worship the man, it has very little to do with his footballing abilities.
-
United and Saints were big tests too, no? Just because we brushed both aside doesn't mean the tests were easy, it just means we passed them. We're playing this at home too, so I'm quite confident.
-
I will cheer him when he goes, a club legend and a beast of a defender, but it's prime time to part ways.
-
He didn't, he was banned because an admin didn't like him and even admitted it, he wasn't able to point to any specific recent bannable offences. It was discussed at length starting from there: http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/4510-give-us-feedbackbugs-thread/?page=127#comment-1223077 - this conversation is a good read, you will get an idea on how things work.
-
Yeah, hope we try him out there some time. But judging by Conte's quote Pedro is more likely to play there, who knows, it might just work.
-
3 more years and we have him back What a genius loan that was.
