  1. I also wanted him gone or relegated to bench (still debatable), but now he's changing my mind. Let's wait and see, things are looking promising. One thing that is a bit worrying is that we are lacking goals from midfield, Kante and Matic can't do that (on a fairly regular basis). So all scoring responsibility falls on the front three.
  2. I used to watch youth games now and then when I had Chelsea TV back in the day (still don't know how that was possible, it magically just was in telly). Not anymore, which is a shame.
  3. Think it's safe to say he was the main man in Leicester's triumph last season? Mahrez and co look lost without him.
  4. FIX TAPATALK or say something about it. 9 days ago you were looking into it, aaaaaaaaaand? @Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim@Jim
  5. Butthurt much lol Also, in post-match Mourinho said we scored 3rd and 4th goals from counter attacks. Look at the replays man, both goals were scored from thoughtful positional plays, no numeric advantage on either goals. On first occasion Hazard even held the ball for several seconds before passing, there was no sense of danger until Matic's glorious pass. Second goal was Kante cutting through like a knife, him of all people. We scored exactly 0 goals from counter-attacks... Just tell it like it is, your team were shambles in every way and you didn't concede because of taking risks, but because you were shit. A few more transfer windows needed I hear Einsteins say? How many do we need comparing money spent, players bought and deadwood hanging? Not as many as them apparently.
  6. I agree but he is the only striker since Drogba who has worked for us. I let that slide when I think about all the Torreses and Shevchenkos we've been through..
  7. I can imagine Ngolo Kante getting home tonight and emptying his pockets. Keys Wallet Coins Pogba
  8. Hash was the first thing I thought about I admit. Thought he was a junkie.
  9. What is this dab thing I keep hearing about?
  10. Yeah, today when I saw that I was thinking to myself that the first time I saw him playing for the first team was some years ago in pre-season as CB and he gave a horrible pass to the opponent Totally different player now. Evolution is strong with this one.
  11. His post-match was eerily similar to what we witnessed last season game after game: Individual mistakes in defence, reluctance to admit bad team performance, luck not turning their way. Jose, we all can see the same fundamental mistakes as last season: frequent individual mistakes provoked by lack of team cohesion and understanding; preference of physical defensive football over technical as shown by constant inclusion of wooden-legged Fellaini (comparable to Ivanovic). This kind of football is simply outdated and modern players will not buy into this idea where they are assessed by their physical and defensive contribution while neglecting possession/attacking part of the game, which is what modern players want to play. For example, I'm not so sure Rashford and Lingard are happy being essentially full-backs when losing. There is no joy on their faces anymore, but it has returned to Hazard and look at him now.
  12. That is what you get for playing Fellaini over and over again. He is their Ivanovic and I'm loving it.
  13. What a man. The way he urged the fans to encourage the team when United fans were chanting over them was amazing. His celebrations were amazing, his tactics were spot on. Definitely the right manager for us!
  14. Chalobah, an academy graduate, playing 20 minutes against Manchester United. Is this Chelsea I'm watching? Obviously quite raw still, but I don't remember the last time I saw something like this... not a bought in youngster, but an academy player playing significant portion in one of the most high pressure games of the season.
  15. Absolutely earned that clean sheet today. Made some spectacular saves and was in control the whole game. We won that game as a team but we would have conceded 1-2 easily without Courtois. WELL DONE!
  16. Who will Mou throw under the buss this time? Bets are open KANTE YOU ABSOLUTE BEAST!"!!!
  17. Anybody still thinks it was a mistake to sack Mou? Lol poor man
  18. Probably because Willian isn't yet mentally ready.
  19. 9gag gifs have no voice, maybe there's a full video dunno

  21. Think our performance will depend on the players' mental approach. If they are scared and go into hiding, then we're in trouble. If they are intent on showing their former boss what they are really capable of, then we can win. Just play the same team as against Leicester, not sure Willian is ready so I'm not gonna chuck him in my fantasy line-up just yet. We also have a huge advantage of having a whole week to prepare while they'll be wasting time in Europa League. Oh, and Kante's pocket is ready for John Obi Pogba. Courtois Azpi - Luiz - Cahill Moses - Kante - Matic - Alonso Pedro - Costa - Hazard
  22. Surprise of the season so far. Has excellent attitude and is repaying Conte's faith big time.
