I think it's pretty clear why Pedro is finally thriving with us. Last season he was thrown into a team that was in a meltdown and out of sync, the worst possible environment to come into. He's had a full season to adapt and now that we are finally playing some thoughtful, rehearsed football, he's come into his own element.

Fake: http://www.stellaawards.com/bogus.html You can find the real Stella Awards on that same site, they were given until 2007 so there are no awards for 2015.

Yes, he used to shoot more earlier in the season, but the last 2 games were against Tottenham and Stoke, not easy opponents to get chances against. But the goal Willian scored, Hazard would have definitely shot with that afforded space.
-
They were brought on at 3-1 iirc, it is not a safe score no matter we are playing a league one side, they proved they can score. He did the right thing. What we don't want is them to equalize and us to play another game.
-
With that space Hazard would do exactly the same, you can bet everything on it.
-
You just sold me. I have never seen the fella play I admit, but what I have read and seen sounds and looks like exactly what we need.
-
True. Managers like Conte and Simeone are only managers because they physically cannot play the game themselves anymore, but they very much still are players at heart when they are kicking, screaming and running around like nutcases on the touchline. I can imagine if I was a player I would love that, and we know now by visual evidence and even some implied quotes that our players are loving that after being ruled by someone who is not one with the players.

Look, let's compromise and win both, okay? The FA Cup is a great competition to win, we've had some absolutely amazing games there, it has given us unforgettable memories. Focusing on one competition is not how Chelsea roll, we have always been in it to win it, aiming for double+ trophies per season like a proper ambitious football club should. As a mere supporter with no financial input into the club I couldn't give a shit about revenue money, I watch for entertainment and emotions.. preferably positive emotions, which is what winning gives. So yeah, I cannot say I don't give a shit - win this one and be one step closer to bragging rights.

It doesn't compensate anything when opponents are specifically targeting him and bypassing our "giants". Cahill himself stands at 1.93m, same height as Van Dijk, and is our best defender in air. This in itself is not a problem, the problem is that we need to stop crosses from coming in so comfortably, until the Spurs game we did that fairly well.
-
Ah, as back-up, okay... I thought you wanted to replace Alonso immediately
-
Yes for sure they need to be, but sometimes it is not enough as we saw against Spurs and we don't have the luxury to pick a strong ball-playing CB. Zouma can play simple passes well, he doesn't need to be Bonucci to be useful. But it all depends on what kind of shape he's in.
-
You are right. I'm not that worried about Liverpool exploiting this hole because they have no huge target men, they will be playing to their strengths not to our weaknesses. But you can bet everything that Giroud will be a massive headache if we persist with Moses and Azpi on that side, Wenger must be rubbing his hands together gleefully after that Spurs game. That guy is a monster in the air and on his day nearly unstoppable even by hardened defenders. I would like us to try Azpi RWB and Zouma RCB some time to test this combination out, because there will be games where we will need sheer mass in the box.

Where has this notion suddenly come from that Kenedy is an adept defender? Or even a better player than Alonso? He made one league appearance for Watford, one. He played a couple of games as full-back for Mourinho, wasn't anything special there, and now suddenly he is an amazing wing-back? This is mid-table club stuff.
-
Yeah, losing both would ruin an already struggling Southampton. Can't see them letting both go.

The Ramsey thing was a stand-alone thing, not connected to what you said. Btw if I don't agree with something, then on the contrary I take the time to reply, writing "+1" type of posts is boring.

They got their little revenge, but it doesn't change the fact that we stopped them from winning the league last year and took their CL spot in 2012 against all odds and probably more Their little attempts at revenge are cute, but they never mean anything.

Mahrez recently admitted that his funniest moment in Leicester’s title-winning campaign came when Tottenham threw the Premier League away at Stamford Bridge. ‘Funniest moment… I think when Tottenham were 2-0 ahead of Chelsea,’ he told FourFourTwo. ‘At half time it was like, all the team came to Vardy’s house and probably we are not going to be champions tonight. So I was like, what’s the point of coming today? ‘Then 2-1, 2-2, it was funny.’

Was the dig at Hazard necessary? Mind in Madrid? Oh we have another mind-reading psychic here. God how such posts have become irritating, old and plain stupid over the past 5 years. Every single fucking time something goes bad somebody thinks he is clever by mentioning the imaginary Hazard Madrid love story. The way he has been playing this season gives me zero reason not to believe he is fully committed to Chelsea's cause, but at least now we know from medical standpoint that your knee is working well. I bet the next time he has an amazing game your other knee will start working well too. EDIT: Btw, talking about Sanchez's winning mentality, then compare it to this - Aaron Ramsey claims Arsenal have sent message to title rivals with comeback against Bournemouth Yeah, they have sent a message that they are still as solid as a house of cards.
-
They are 8th in League One, defeat is unacceptable. Hope to see Michy and Chalobah start, give us a glimpse of Zouma too please.
-
Life at TC after a loss, doesn't surprise me anymore. Let them vent, next game we win with him beasting he will be underrated instead of overrated again.
-
Chill, number 2 and 4 were obviously sarcastic jokes, written by @Leif. Need I say more? And claiming Azpi not to be a CB and suggesting a system change are all valid discussions, you may not agree with those statements, but they are valid points of discussion for an internet forum. Kante, Alonso.

Can't stop thinking how perfect he would be for us. He's got the pressing mentality hardwired in him by Bielsa's and Sampaoli's Chile, Barcelona and now Arsenal. He's hard-working, committed, fast, technically sound and has always scored loads of goals. We'd pose incredible goal threat with Costa, Hazard and Sanchez. Stick him at RW on paper, but give him the freedom to combine with Hazard wherever they feel like it. He's 28, not getting any younger, a player of his pedigree should be filling his trophy cabinet... with Arsenal it is filling with spider webs, he might as well be playing in China.

Shouldn't this particular bot be reported to the police? What it's advertising is most likely illegal (buying certificates, work permits, licenses, passports etc).
