Okay, if you have proper rationale and you make every single decision together, then why the secrecy? Why hasn't the banned members thread been updated? Why is Special Juan and co. (you included) ignoring our feedback and not giving any proper replies to members who are clearly looking for answers to your actions? Why were we condescendingly told to go away without a single decent word? Members like Stats have invested a lot of time and effort here throughout the years. He obviously cares about this place or he wouldn't have bothered posting... why is he being ignored as if he was nobody? That's what you want from your ball-playing defender, to be technically adept at getting the ball forward and he does that well. Doubt he would be able to dictate tempo, be a creative outlet and the focal point of possession play, that in a position with less time on the ball. Don't think he has the eye or intelligence to be a playmaker.

Not really, overhits them quite often or gives hopeless ones. At least that's how I remember him from his first stint with us, haven't really paid attention to it this time. A playmaker also needs creativity and correct decision making in addition to pure technical skill to pull off passes, I very much doubt he can do it.

Doubt it, his passing is not good enough for that. Decent for a defender.

Don't read that dross, they are biased to the core and not Chelsea fans. Their logic is super flawed. Mikel is their legend and they worship the man, it has very little to do with his footballing abilities.

Honestly, I don't know. Ideally a natural full-back who has good stamina and is good at attacking. Know anybody who fits the bill? I'm not too familiar with full-backs right now, they aren't as interesting as midfielders or attackers Out of the current team I can only think of Willian, but he would be another makeshift WB like Moses. Ideally we'd have somebody natural there.

I'm not so sure about this anymore. Next season we will have Christensen, Zouma, Luiz, Azpi and Cahill for this position. If Ivanovic and/or Terry stay then we're set, if not, then we might need to look for a backup defender, but for starting positions I think we're covered for next season. Getting good wing-backs is a more pressing issue if we persist with 3 at the back, or at least proper covers for Alonso and Moses if they keep this form up and cement their places. At the moment we have none.

5 minutes to RLC in a pointless CL game where nothing was at stake vs. 20 minutes to Nate against Man United in a high pressure game where everything (at least the clean sheet) was at stake. You are right, super excited with everything related to Chelsea, it has rekindled my interest in the game. Can't wait for the next two transfer windows to see what we really can do.
