  1. Nothing to do with Leicester wanting to keep him, why would he want to stay? They're going down this year, they stayed up by some freak run of results last season.
  2. I had a dream he scored for us against Swansea Put your money on it now, bitches.
  3. Mourinho is the Ferguson of this generation. United had a shocking squad in 2010/11 and ran away with it based on the Ferguson factor.
  4. Fucking shit, and didn't get home until 2am, but worth it to pick this beauty up (though I got one without CHAMPIONS 15 and the gold badges... a bit over the top IMO - plain shirt with the embroidering was only £3 more than the regular one):
  5. But Dwight Gayle is going on loan to Fulham. Pardew clearly rates Patch or he wouldn't be letting Gayle leave, simple as that.
  6. On the contrary, watch his footwork, he over-compensates by taking an extra step to his right as he is so strong down his left line. If anything he exposes his stronger side, which is where he concedes most of his goals.
  7. The reason why we're still the best team in the country isn't because we have the best team, it's because we have Mourinho.
  8. Give him the full 90. He has barely trained with us and needs something resembling a pre-season under his belt.
  9. José has executed this perfectly. Stones' head has been turned, I'd wager. Don't be surprised to see a written transfer request go in soon.
  10. I'd agree that going forward he offers very little, but even so, he has been known to put some crucial crosses in for us - Branna's winner against Villa came about through Dave's sheer persistence, for example. Don't forget he has serious shackles on. When he played for Marseilles, he used to maraud down the wing so often, because his stamina enabled him to get back. At Chelsea, he has to cover for JT's lack of pace and that fact that usually, when we're being hit on the counter-attack, he gets next to no help from Fabregas or Hazard. He makes up for that by being the best one-on-one defender we've had at Chelsea since Carvalho. I don't think Azpi will ever be as good as Ashley Cole was at his best, but let's remember Cole was the best LB of the last 20 years. That doesn't stop Azpi from being a fantastic defender. However that's just my opinion, I respect yours as you made some excellent points!
  11. People have overlooked the fact that the pitch was in abysmal condition. Not at all conducive to the type of passing football both sides utilise.
  12. If we need a new admin, it'll be because you're out on your arse you insubordinate cretin. Jokes love you long time <3
  13. I think he's talking about Baba and Stones, in truth.
  14. Damn, I think you're right actually. No, actually, you are. I remember having an argument with him and he was slagging me off over PM, then realised I was an admin and soon went quiet! In that case, I wholeheartedly apologise yuvala!
  15. I think he's mixing you up with Yuvala (sp?) who didn't have the best of starts of this forum
  16. Sell him, he's shit, he played poorly for 45 minutes in a friendly against a side ten days ahead of us in pre-season preparation, what an absolute waster.
  17. Most of us appreciate you mate. You just need to change your name to xThibautCourtoisx
  18. I can genuinely say this is the most I've ever looked forward to a friendly A team I've never seen before, and I've got front-row tickets in the East Upper on the half-way line. Should be a nice evening.

  20. I genuinely think it will. He had a lot going against him at United. He joined on deadline day, so didn't get a pre-season with his side. Secondly, he was being constantly rotated with van Persie and Rooney and Welbeck, and simply didn't get a consistent run of games to prove himself. It didn't help that van Gaal was changing systems every game as well. I accept he was very poor for United, but I believe we are a side that would suit his abundant qualities more so than United. I don't expect him to thrash in 40 goals next season, but he's certainly an upgrade on Drogba as a second/third-choice forward. Mourinho has confidence in him (clearly - otherwise he wouldn't have negotiated the deal) and I trust his judgement. I think he'll surprise many people because fans such as yourself are already writing him off before a single competitive football is kicked.
  21. Haha, looks amazing mate, glad you enjoyed the experience! As for today, you can't blame him for celebrating. The difference is he's celebrating winning a Community Shield, not a European Cup.
